Webster Edmund who pleaded guilty to various charges including kidnapping and fire arms-related offences will have to wait until March 15, 2013 for sentencing.
Edmund was due to have been sentenced on March 1, 2013 but Justice Bernie Stephenson explained that his lawyer Peter Alleyne who was supposed to have filed a number of documents only did so on the morning of March 1, 2013.
“This is a very serious matter and I must give a written decision….hence I am now getting the documents filed and so will have to postpone my sentencing until March 15, 2013,” she said.
She also postponed the sentencing of Ronald Lestrade of St. Joseph to that same date. He pleaded guilty to attempted rape and burglary.
Well, if a pedophile gets 8 years for abusing 3 little babies, this one will walk free
She was found in Lent. He will be sentenced in Lent.

Man, you an adult, she was underage when you took her away and hid her from her family for some weeks. You deprived her of her freedom and from attending school. When the news of her abduction spread and when she was found, you caused her embarrassment. Consider the effect it had on her and probably will for life. You do not deserve to be out in public.
I visualize that Dominicans are anxious to know what type of sentencing he will receive. From a distance, I am eager to read about it.
