A 24-year-old employee of the National Co-Operative Credit Union (NCCU) Roseau branch, arrested over the weekend for stealing from that financial institution, has pleaded guilty to the offence.
Nick Nicholas today (March 5, 2012) appeared before chief magistrate Evelina Baptiste where the charge was read to him.
The court heard that he stole EC$400.00 from the account of Catherine Robinson.
The matter was discovered when Robinson, who had $400.29 on her account came in to transact business.
She was told that she did not have sufficient funds in her account.
Robinson however insisted that she had enough money to transact the business she required and requested to see the supervisor.
Before handing down sentence, Chief Magistrate Baptiste told Nicholas she was very disappointed at what happened.
She said stealing was becoming a “plague or epidemic in Dominica” and action was required to stop it.
“What went into your head…..you have now lost your job and now have a bad police record, you now have to work twice as hard to get another job,” she said.
The Chief Magistrate told the young man she hoped that he had learnt a lesson from his actions.
He was fined EC$1,500.00 and told further that he would have to repay the EC$400.00 that he stole.
Nicholas was represented by attorney at law David Bruney.
it do right they to stpid
common on ppl just saying why all these negative vibes.firstly i don’t know this young man personal but i really don’t think that this dude stole anything from this bank after working all these years from what i read why would he steal only that amount when he deals with cash everyday and for only that small sum the bank had to broadcast this young man like that i believe there’s more to this story than what DNO knows! i believe that this young man was forced and threatened to plead guilty.
I hope he survives so information can be SQUEEZED (literally) out of him
Ouch… Computer error… Wrong topic
wel i have a business and am workin with them and trust me some time is have me wondering what is really going on,those day am usin my cheque book and if i use three hundred today tomorrow morning am sendin just that three hundred dollars, because some thing alway wrong, people be carefull
We all have skeletons in our closet. I could be the worlds biggest thief. But come on man? $400.00? $400.00 man? U are a fool and from an account with just that? My boy hear all what u lose? Lose that for something worthwhile?
When BJ was ordering things to build his house on church name, that wasn’t stealing too? hhhmmm.
Everyone is capable of stealing, most of you stole something in their life already.
Let he who have not sin cast the first stone
Nick my boy sorry to hear that. All the people who talking negative comments and want to see pictures I know most of you have skeletons in your closets. We are all human we make mistakes and everybody deserves a second chance. I know they guy he is good guy just made a mistake. You will bounce back but it wont be easy. Just remember people have done worst and still make it and keep de faith keep praying time will heal.
well wat can i say i sorry for him
each teller has an overage GL account, all he had to do was post it, when the woman comes in and query,it would be smooth sailing ma broder.
U self more stupid than the man? Dont you know it also leaves a paper trail?
ah ha now that kinda makes sense. Ok so it was getting late and he needed to go home . I imagine if he was short you would have stayed till midnight. Even so I’m sure NCCU gives tellers a day or two to look for an outage. Most overs in till are found the same day or two. If that is the case that dude was a delinquent employee and maybe needed to find a different area of work. I mean you can throw a few coins in a cup if it gonna make you above your threshold but pocketing is just silly. I believe this guy used to be out of balance very often and got a few letters so he tried to cover up this time. That’s just sad. These types of jobs are not for everybody, one can always quit and find something suitable. In my opinion these bank jobs are overrated to much long hours, ulcer, sinus and frigging slavery.
what happened was at the end of the day he couldn’t balance off because he had 400 dollars extra and be cause he didn’t want to check to see where the error went wrong he just took the money. he did not go to work intending to steal the money. sad to say but it’s true he was just too lazy to stay at work a bit longer to find out where the error occurred.
aha…that is called stealing, taking what does not belong to you. I’m sorry Nick! sad but true
That explanation seems very plausible. it happens to a lot of cashiers. They don’t know where they made the error so it’s more problems to figure it out where the issue is than to just ‘pocket’ the money and call it judge.
What I would have done differently, is place the money in an envelope and leave it somewhere on the company premises for at least 12 months in the event the source of the error is revealed within that time period.
any one who takes something that is not theirs they are stealing. especially if you are working in a bank, its not yours, it belongs to someone else, leave it alone.
ok sir! and what happends after that yr come to pass?
he should have informed his supervisor of the overrage and shw/he would have given him directive
Thanks for enlightening me,i knew there was more to this story which DNO fail too tell us,they are more interested in tarnishing people’s reputation.
Because i mean who takes 400.00 from an account that only have 400.29? He should have stayed and balance off
nonsense. so ummmmmmmm how was it removed from dis woman’s account?the tellers credit d accounts immediately upon receipt.
He neglected to post the transaction. If he had carefully call back his work he would have gotten his error. A very simple error i might add
And that Ladies and Gentlemen is the truth here from Anonymous2. This is exactly what happened ! But they would rather have people thinking the worst about the boy.
How are People thinking worst? It is still Theft!
Laziness added!
He needed to ensure he balanced off.
No way $400 just going to drop on your lap!
That was dumb theft.
on the flip, hope he learns his lesson and can move on.
ah ha now that kinda makes sense. Ok so it was getting late and he needed to go home . I imagine if he was short you would have stayed till midnight. Even so I’m sure NCCU gives tellers a day or two to look for an outage. Most overs in till are found the same day or two. so u acknowledge that he stole rite?
You CAN NOT be a teacher for real. Are you kidding? Who the hell do they hire nowadays—you are pathetic.
About one year ago i deposited $1000.00 via NCCU’s ATM. The following day i called NCCU to confirm whether the money was credited to my account but to my surprise i was told that the envelope was found empty. Up till this day i have no clue as to what happened to my money. The matter was covered up and left that way.
Blessings, so what happened after you contacted tha bank. Did you just accept the fact that they took your money.
I contacted the manager and was told i would get an opportunity to view the tape showing the transaction being performed. When I further contacted the institution I was told I could no longer view the tape due to security reasons.
The Police according to them are still investigating. I SMELL A RAT!
lady we reviewd the cameras, you did not put any money in the envelope
They maybe don’t realize that NCCU has cameras while they trying to pull their fast one.
Worker, since you are so quick to defend, looks like you know more than you are letting out.
Blessings, I agree. I suspect is more than one rat. ‘Worker’ is getting too defensive. Then again I guess she has her job to protect.
sorry, I guess the institution made an example out of him. They are getting fedup with those whitecollar theft happening there. just a word of caution members should update their passbooks regularly
Allu can take chances papa. I would NEVER deposit that amount of money via an ATM.
i am teribly sorry that that happended to this guy, but unfortunately hemay hv had it coming….he should really look into his heart and try to change the ungodly thing within him….ha ha hay……everybody should know what i mean………….and i mean nick….only 400 dollars the lady had papa bonde….that isthe money social security sending for the lady for disability and you didnt had the concience to say to your self let you not do that…..ma gway sa….they should have sent you stockey….wor of advise dont drop the soap.
LEARN to respect your mother and father. dont curse ppl for no reason. RESPECT HUMANS and HUMBLE your self. stop thinkin you more dan EVERYONE. humble, humble
I am bewildered at that action by Management. What about equity? .
My main concern is how many other accounts have been compromised in this way. A $5 here a $20 dollars there every now and again from a few hundred accounts, little sums of money that some big boys or some retirees would barely notice…
This is of great concern to me.
all of us do stupid mistakes.part of your brain failed to function.some of us are conscious while doing the act but there is a greater force fighting the positive.i have made mistakes and others too.paying the fine is not all.you carry this stigma all your life.this in itself is a heavy load.there are bigger thieves whom they haven’t caught yet.i will not criticise nor condemn you,but i hope you have learnt your lesson.be strong.if you are sincere Jah will help you but first start helping yourself.cheer up brother
LOL ! Look now the editor cut off most of my statement and leave only the piece up to “there is a lot of wrong going on in NCCU.” Anyway that there is and no matter what gets editted it will not hide. The response to Nick is just a vendetta because management doing employees what they want inside there and union cannot do anything, but Nick was not letting them walk all over him !
LOL and even more editing on this one ! Well well Editor Zor pas feb, let the truth be heard !
I don’t believe this young man did this I guess it was just a silly .mistake Nick only God can judge you and plz be strong and let no one bring you down.
Hello!!! The heading reads ‘Employee pleads guilty to stealing $400 from NCCU’….Still don’t believe???
and your point exactly? it was an overage! Nick isnt that stupid and has been in the business too long to think he could have gotten away with it. it is people like you that make me thank god for my intelligence
you serious? You didn’t read that he plead guilty? doesn’t that mean he is confessing. HE said he did it
Let that be a lesson to all young people who like to let people thing burn their eyes. You never know what some people do to get what they have. It’s not a crime to like to see what others have, but try getting it the right way, so at the end of it you will have a clear conscience and you can sleep good at nights!!! TAKE HEED.
when we trying to impress males, things like that happen
So he got caught because the lady came in to do a transaction… My question is what about if he stole from other accounts where people have not done any transactions yet…
Nick,I am honestly sorry that this has happened to you, repent from it, and ask God Almighty to clense you. Then move on. Use that opportnuity to get yourself further educated. I know of a young man who worked at that institution, and was involved along with two other members (male) who wiped out over $30,000. They too lost their jobs, I don’t know about the two others, but one has repented from the act, furthered his education, and now works. Yes. So don’t sit and hang your head in shame, it has happened, You should apologise to the lady, pay her and then move on with your future in a positive way.
Nick my advice to you is : Pick Your Self Up, Dust Your Self Down, Get Your Act Together, and Start all Over.
First of all this did not go down the way the chose to report it. In any case though it should never have happened and it is wrong. However there is a lot of wrong going on in NCCU.
how you know that?
I see that you did not post my comment editor you are afraid of putting the truth out there !
so dno get. dey doh like truth.
I see you did not print my comment editor. I guess you are afraid of putting the truth out there !
I really dont think this guy would steal $400 the same day he got paid. Thats just my opinion, but God knows the truth. If he took it, he will pay. If somebody else set him up, they too, in time will pay. The truth shall set you free!
is this really his name ?? just checking. I’m not going to cast him down sure he has enough persons to do that already. let us all learn from “Nick” and i must applaud him for being honest once caught although the honest thing would have been not stealing in the first place but i pray that he wises up and stops this terrible habit. youth out there think before you act.
NICK MY BRO, GREATINGS,LIFE IS A LEARNING EXPIRENCE,YOU ONLY LEARN BY YOUR MISTAKES, ONE LOVE BRO, BLESSINGS !!!!!
Nick u always kept saying things tight for u but just ask for help or sell d car or take bus for a month now u have no choice to sell the car jah nick
we all point fingers at Nick we should all think of what he is going through now he has already been humiliated his name and charactor tarnished lets not make it worse than already is he has learned his lesson if not he is a fool he now has his own concionce to deel with let de man be dread hold your head up deal with it overcome ur mishaps and move on with ur life u can now be an example and let younger one know what not to do guidience my brother
I’m kinda saddened by this incident. We all make mistakes, some worst than others by society’s standards but in the eyes of God all man and sin is equal. Hope you don’t lose hope! Seek the creator and pay no mind to those who will try to bring you down.
This does not make any sense. There seems to be much more to this story than is being reported. I find it utterly impossible to believe that a teller whose salary is more than the fine and the alleged stolen sum would do this. I wonder why this youngster was hung out to dry, perhaps he did’t bow to the CEO!
that is exactly the case, the CEO and branch Manager has had a problem with him for some time now.
although that is true im responding to the past employee yes his salary is way more than 1900 but he made an error during the day, looked but didnt find it and in fear of being written uo for being over by an excessive amount he hid it aside. he is now being used as an example by management. hold strong nick never liked your feminine ways but you did your work very well. keep ur head up
You stated earlier that you “thank God for your intelligence.” You actually were insulting another; how intelligent are you when you CAN NOT and WILL NOT begin a sentence with a capital letter? Defense Attorney my behind— Please do not give us all a bad name.
When I first read this I immediately thought there was more to this story. I have a hard time believing he did it. He may have plead guilty because he had no choice. Just my thought.
that story is hard to believe there must be a logic explanation why would any body with common sense take 400 from an a/c with 400.29 cents that a/c was active maybe somebody else come to withdraw money and their a/c number was close to the other one and he enter the wrong figure all members see if your a/c have and over of 400 lets give him the benefit of doubt nick think back of all your transaction of that day maybe something might come up to clear your name
monkey, if the money is posted to another acccount he would balance. Did you read the article? When the money was discovered missing I am sure the supervisors would have done checks and balances before accusing, please!
WHO IS THIS NICK DUDE? NEED A PIC….
wht is tht for me nah boii,,,lemme check my account
NICK!!! wappen to u? wat go up in ur head my broda??? $400 wi petty cash wi nick! i canna believe u pure embarrassment dat wi
SORRY FOR BEING NEGATIVE BUT I BELIEVE IS SPOIL THEY SPOIL MISTER. NA MAN, AN EXPERIENCED EMPLOYEE AS YOURSELF. NOBODY CYAH TELL ME IS NOT MAGIC DAT.
On a more serious note: honor thy mother and thy father; love thy neighbor as thyself; be good to others.
All the best to the young man, may god bless you.
Hopefully this will be forgotten soon. People have done worst, its not the end of the world. Just be humble it will soon come to past.
Some years ago I received two small cheques from the Inland Revenue Division, one for forty something and the other for about a hundred dollars. When I went to the treasury, which was not immediately, the employee stamped the slip “paid” and told me that the money had been sent to my account at the Roseau Credit Union. Up till today those sums have never been lodged to my account. I am still wondering where those sums of money disappeared to. One thing is certain. The person who pocketed my tax refund MUST CONFESS ON THEIR DYING BED.
Well, they always do, unless their relatives place a pair of scissors under their pillow. GrandBarians, just saying…
NIck,o my,i feel sad to hear this.
Forget what lies behind,we all make mistakes.
please learn from other people mistakes,do not let it happen to you.
Pray alot, trust me.To remove what ever spell was bestowed upon you.It helps…..move on with your life…….many of those who talking doing there thing under cover………it just start to reveal trust me!
money laundering is a crime too, drug financing is a crime too, destroying evidence of a crime is a crime too, having million dollar mansion and your salary doesnt account for it is a crime too.LEtting your children sleep with big men to pay rent and get financial support is a crime.I DONOT WANT TO BE FRIEND WITH NO DRUG DEALER OR HUMAN TRAFFICKER.
Hello Nick, I feel sorry if that is true courage.
Nick I’m really heart broken. U suprise all of us. Y????? 400.00….. Its so sad eh……hmmm.may god help u.
Blackberry that doin that
lololol
I was saddened when I read this. Although I do not know Nick, I am a mother, and I can understand what your family is going through. I would like to encourage you, this is not the end of the road, you have to get up, dust yourself and start all over again. It is not going to be easy, but you have to try, You can make it with God on your side, call on him, he will help you. You have done something wrong, learn from it, I am sure you will have a great testimony in the future, if you learn from that mistake. All the best to you
Very well said Mam.
not to condone what he did..but who steals $400.00, from an account which only has $400.00? He should be fired not only for the crime but also for stupidity!…or maybe something is wrong with this young man..have we considered that? like maybe he’s losing it? It just seems a rather silly reason/amount of money to lose your job for. And i’ve worked in a institution such as this and believe me people have swindled way more money than that from the bank and it was covered up..ie they were fired and left the country quietly etc…is it that this guy’s fence is more low?
Nick, you did something dumb like i did in the pass…I thought my life was over, my name destroyed, my chances of continuing my life lost…But dude, I have learnt that I could never Justify my wrong… I tired to take my life, but I remembered that doing this will not help my mum’s hurting heart any better…DO NOT look for Man forgiveness first….Seek God first…humble yourself before God…and PS:NOT MARY, no man cometh unto the father but through me…Jesus’s word. Get the real Gospel truth… Your life isn’t over, am even more sadden by the depressing comments…I know he did something FOOLISH AND WRONG…but we are all humans, today is for him, tomorrow is for someone else…don’t rejoice or murmur about someone’s down fall, take heed before you fall also…Please start confess positive things over our youth….NICK I HOPE YOU READ THIS….
Not bad.
I hate what Nick did but…Man has to survive. Pick yourself up, bro and start anew.
I really hope Nick gets to read this…. because you have truly given some positive advice ……it just reminds me of the old saying there there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
what he did was wrong but you know what – he just needs to pick himself up, dust himself off, get his life together and start all over
Agree 200%
thats pure bull i dont see why they have to publicize the guy name like that so many employees have stolen more money, already not to mention big bobol happened before at other banks and their names was never publicized so what is the point ,u all must stop that and stop looking at the minority ,pure bull and all u with ur stupid comments so much im sure u have skeletons in ur closet low minded set of people we have here no wonder every time i come back home i see u all complacent .im not agreeing to what the guy do wrong is wrong and yes he should be pinalized for that but not have his name or institution on here come on ,stop this non sense all the bobol so much of them do n they still working another place ,young man the downfall of a man is not the end of his life we all make mistakes so dont bow ur head in shame worst is happening here .
True. They should just that quietly without going to court.
I am sorry he embarassed himself for $400. He could have just sold something of his; even though it is a laptop. But on a whole, I do not think some youg people budget their money properly. They must not live above their means. I am sorry he has lost his job. The institution should put him to do something where he does not have to handle money be it security or messenger. It might take him a while before he gets a job.
Then what? drugs!
I could not agree with anymore…why all the publicity……
True say. On this forum DNO is quick to publish names of individuals over petty things.. While one should not support illegal actions/ activities, the further dragging in the mud of fallen individuals is uncalled for. Want to publicize something? Why not talk about the ineffective politicians, police abuse and unproffesional conduct of these officers, the prostituting of our passports, lack of proper treatment for drug addicts and mentally disturbed. Stop saving your hides.
I am not condoning wrong but this is Dominica and Dominicans for you. One gets punished or exonerated depends on who you are. I am on my way to close my account with the financial instiution. I dont condone crime neither do I condone partiality.
Dear Domtodebone,
It is so-called friends like you who make folks like Nick believe that if others can do it and get away, then it is JUSTIFIED to do likewise!! There can be no excuse for robbing the finances of clients at which you are employed. Irrespective of how many other persons have committed similar acts, this must be condemned in the strongest possible manner! This is a most heinous crime as far as I am concerned.
Hope you have learnt your lesson though, Nick and do not become a REPEAT OFFENDER, please.
@kwame is it the first person who has and have stolen money in dominica was thier names ever publicized like this wat abt the recent happernings at a said bank and they r no longer working there was there names ever publicized come on im not condonming what he did but thats taking it too far with all these silly comments am sure u have done worst take heed lest u fall -dont u have a relative or a fren who has done wrong in the past come on dont speak out of mere ignorance give mea break .bigger bobol took place here in dominica should i call out the names no i will not so all im saying there was no need to have the guy name publicized
was it worth it? NO!!! lossing your job which you could earn thousands in a year, for simply stealing $400. unbelievable, disgracing your self
that young man has a job in a bank should be getting about $2000 a month & doing something like that to a poor person! he need serious help.
a lot more than 2000.00 my dear i work there as well im still shocked. Mr just making our spot look bad over 3 and a half days pay
Awah ! Do your research and find out how much the tellers and “junior” employees get paid ! Magwaysah pasta !
a lot more???????
wow i have a account there let me go home and check it that is why am in goodwill credit union it did not worth it nick $400 what can or could that do for you any ways were u trying to impress some woman shame on you and you embrass your family
or maybe a man!!
This report is not factual and the NCCU management should seek to give correct information….. Why would Nick steal $400.00 on the same day he got paid? The truth should have set him free, everyone at NCCU know it was a mistake with one of the better employees the institution has seen in years
Exactly my point… anyone who knows Nick should immeadiately see and know that there’s another side to this story…Nick would never stoop so low.. Nick just keep the faith and God will see you through.. this is only a passing cloud the sun will shine on yu again.. hold strong friend!! I believe in you!
why plead guilty if u doe take it ?
Very true ! They are giving erroneous information but God knows all and we all get our just desserts in life !
People just resist the devil and he will flee from you, when you feel tempted turn the other way ask God for his keeping power.Nick this is a hard lesson learned, that is the way the devil works he sets you up to take you down then he he laughs at you,ask God to forgive you He will,God bless.
I feel sorrow for this guy. Ruined his reputation, lost his job, disappointed his family and friends for $400. As others have said, he could have asked for an advance on his salary or borrow. I am sure he has come to realize that he has made a dumb mistake. Our moral vlaues should be strong enough to resist stealing other people’s property.
these thieves should be made to compensenate the victim 10 times what they stole. SHAME SHAME SHAME. post their photos on a failed citizen billboard
In every sector of society there is this plague of stealing..starting from the respectable offices even to the parties……
they have covered up worse than that. So why is he they chose to expose?
is that i find
I KNOW, HIS FENCE THAT LOW,
ALL YOU DOMINICANS LIKE TO CRY DOWN ON ALL U PEOPLE TOO MUCH..WHAT HE DID WAS TOTAL WRONG YES, BUT EMPLOYEES IN BANKS IN AMERICA STEAL TOO. THIS IS NOT JUST A DA ISSUE.
Important lesson here for everyone. Nick I’m sorry, this incident has cost you a lot including humiliation. Wake up, brush yourself up and turn a new leaf.
I always keep asking myself what is the real logic in the bank deciding to stop issuing passbooks. Leaves lots of room for speculations. On another note institutions need to start putting these kind of people in the open because some of them jump from job to job with the same attitude because the matter is covered up.
Really sad man. He should have approached a friend and ask for the $400.00. All of us get broke at one time or another, but the answer to that is not stealing. Anyway you did not murder, so take care of your youthful mind. Don’t do anything silly, and try to get back on your feet again.
You have paid for your error,so try hard, and by the grace of God you will move on…
$400. MAN
gd luck bro
oh my…i know nick…i really would not have expected that from you….you were on core with my group…oh my….a dirty police record for $400.00. i know that something must have gone in your head to do that…i just don’t get it.
Let this serve as a lesson to us all; young like old. Temptation is out there, so avoid letting our minds and bodies become hosts for Satan and his malice. He’s everywhere!
I cannot believe that. You sacrificing your job for 400 dollars? You people need to leave ppl things alone. After somebody work so hard to save their little money you stealing it.Just make sure is not mine allu touch because after I work hard for my money in de US for somebody to steal it I not hearing nothing.
For $400 dollars..you lost a job which might have been paying you five time that amount and most imprtantly your reputation..
I really thought I saw he stole $4,000, then I saw she only had $400 in there. Unbelievable! This young man lost his job for a mere $400? Something is wrong with that picture. Is now I believe is put they put him theory. A sensible person would never ever execute that illogical theft operation. $400?
Madame, $400+$400+$400+……..adds up to the millions. Check your account to see if $400 is missing.
FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!…IT WON’T BUY HIM A PROPER PHONE OR TWO GOOD JEANS OR A WICKED PAIR OF SHOES. I SUSPECT THAT WAS SEWO MONEY…THAT BUY GAS, FOOD AND RUM..
I HOPE IS JUST ONCE THAT OCCURRED BECAUSE IS I MISS MONEY ON MY ACCOUNT. SOMEBODY WILL CERTAINLY PAY.
I hope you never do anything wrong. I will be looking and listening.
OOOkkk , he did the act, he was punished, can we all move on. Why dwell or rather remind the world that he stole $400.00. Maybe this incident was his very first offense. Many people steal and never get caught and then go on to be respectable people in society. Yes it was wrong and he will forever remember the embarrassment so let us not rub it in. He is still young and can become a great person if we will forgive his behavior and allow him to find peace. Some people may not steal but forget that there are 10 other commandments. How many do we keep in honor of obeying the laws of God and state. We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. His shame is punishment as well.
AMEN @jammie, we forget we have children.
Now they need to look for how many other 400 dollars are missing. That sum sounds like ‘$400$ naaaahh, cannot be right’. The story has just begun…
That’s true. We all have to double and tripple check our books. The banks should not stop the pass books.
our young men again. What’s going on with them. Come on!!! How do you feel now, bro. Lodst your job for two pence and make it worse, those cops couldn’t wait to embarrass you infront of the Trafalgar Catholic Church to arrest you as you probably came from asking GOD pardon for what you did. They could have allowed you to get home instead of pick you up and put you in the van right there.
. Next time they should arrest him while he taking losty. I feel no pity for thieves especially when I bank at the institution. If is me my picture would be well plastered on DNO.
why did he not think of all that before he did what he did? i guess the cops seized the best opportunity they got at him though he brought it upon himself. what a shame.
Where are the pictures?? we would like to see
photos of the employee leaving the court house
after receiving his sentencing.
Swag does pictures help in anyway??? u want to damage the boy more than this thing has done?
Frankly, the “boy” has done the damage to himself. He must now get the strength to face the consequences and move on.
just like you want to see his pictures, I want to see the picture of the idiot calling themself SWAG sitting behind his pc. Deal?
you see you all time will tell. You bask in the fall of people and to you all every body who falls brings greater joy to your hearts but we are all still in this world, we all have loved ones and anything can happen in this evil world. I will recommend that Nick read psalm 35 for you and you will certainly see the result.
We must be careful when we work in a lot of money to not let it tempt us.
It’s a shame that is happening in financial institutions where we think our money is safe.
Everyone must be thinking at the back of their minds that they should check their account immediately at NCCU… this has only put NCCU in bad light.
ah ah ah nick, such a respectable man, good character, decent job. why you had to spoil all that over $400.00. you have disappointed everyone who knows you. things so hard in the country, how you going to move on? what a shame.
i’m so sorry to hear that Nick. Why did you let it burn your eyes? I’m sure there was someone who could borrow it to you if it was an emergency
All that embarrassment for a lousy $400.00? Come on man. You know better than that.
OMG…so sad…the devel is a liar…his real and his working…young people especially men take heed…
This is not the first and it will not be the last financial institution employee to teef people money. Then they making you pay back loan twice.
true no lie you paying and paying and u can never finish pay

I wonder what he did with the money, really now.
How is that these young people are so stupid…losing a decent income and a good reputation for two cents. Gees man. Just ask your supervisor for an advance. The only two responses you are likely to get is yes or no.
He failed to see that option. Mehn!
so u know what next , he might go into drugs and then when police catch him again , poeple say no jobs the youth frustrated.though theere may not be many jobs out there but some of the younth bring thiese sad situations upon themselves sometimes.
Way too many sticky Fingers at money institutions
wonder if the latest IPhone thats around in the place..caused the bloke to contract that Asphalt virus..
man the fast past of tech and the bling era many cant resist the temptations of Blinging..
society seems rotten to the core of lack of morales and ethics….hey we need to check major leadership and their past and current track records of statements and direction on policy issues in DA……FOCUS ATTENTION IN THEM AREAS!!
Is a good thing I check my account regularly papa.
My mother had an experience like this at another bank and it was covered up. so it seems this is a trend at the banking institutions.
That’s why they don’t give pass books anymore at some of the banking institutions. One must always ask for the balance of their account when transacting business at this institutions.
Get online banking and you can track your funds daily without the hassle of going to or calling the banks.
It doesn’t matter how u ask for the balance. the point i was making is ask for it
But even online banking in Dominica is itself a rip-off. Imagine you have to pay $55/yr for online banking. In other jurisdictions you pay nothing.
yes because you get an automatic update for every transaction that occurs
@Voice From The North, I have accounts with three major banks in Dominica and i don’t get charged for online banking. Maybe you should consider other financial institution for doing business.
FYI ppl….online banking os freeeeee
yes sah
Oh my god. You are getting sacked for a measley $400.00 and now you have to pay back that amount plus $1,500 plus legal fees. You are a joker boy. I feel sorry for you.

Losing your NCCU job over $400. In dem hard economic times? That wasn’t an educated decision. Stealing is always wrong. Cannot be justified.
aww boii so it is man
Boy donot let what people have burn your eyes. You must learn to be satisfied with the little that you have once it is blessed by God.Two names i donot ever want in my life is VOLEUR (thief) and AVIOL (RAPIST).Those names there never leave you. You will always be remembered as that until you die. what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and suffer the lost of his soul.A GOOD NAME IS BETTER THAN RICHES.
really? well that name shall leave me! i PRAY!!!
Ah nick, you did that? I would have never expected that from you. You broke my heart in pieces Nick. This is really sad. On another note, let me check my NCCU account.
I know right
