Human remains found in Hillsborough

breaking newsRemains of a human being have been found in the Hillsborough area, information reaching Dominica News Online has indicated.

The remains were found on Saturday partly buried in a grave, the information reveals.

Reports are that the remains are so badly decomposed that it could not be determined at the scene if they belonged to a man or a woman.

Reports also indicate that one person is in custody assisting the police while they investigate the discovery.

DNO will provide updates as they become available.

Are some of the missing people being mentioned more than once in these comments?

DNO should publish a list of missing people (description, last seen, etc) in order let the public be more aware. I’m sure it could help the police solve some of these cases.

        Maker,
Such a list would only expose their incompetence if all the information is in the public domain but they do not act upon it. It would clearly show they are either incompetent or extremely lazy – both good reasons for disbanding the current set up and starting with new leadership.

It would be nice to have an update about the young Castle Bruce Girl who went missing. I never understand how those things are so tragic then once the story is aired you hear nothing….

ADMIN: If there is nothing to report, then there will be no updates. The media cannot make up stories in such matters.

We have lots of drugs and prostitution. I mean anytime of day one can go Pottersville and have any amount of women if you have the money. But you have to be careful they may rob you or even hurt you real bad if your money not right. So you see, we can say all we want but unless we can adopt policies that create gainful employment for the majority then bonda nou payday! Government don\’t care, police don\’t care, the churches don\’t care, teachers don\’t care, the uneducated is being fooled, used and abused in this land. We desperately need change from the top.

There are structural differences between a man and a woman, which even during death remains intact and can give vital clues as to the gender of the person, the person’s age range, etc; the size of the skull, pelvis, the diameter of the fumer, etc can lead to gender identification…..sometimes, it puzzles me when I read that the determination of sex cannot be determined due to the state of decomposition. Once the whole body is available despite the state of decomposition of the body, gender can be determined.

Sometimes you see comments that just lets you shake your head. What does the size of a country has to do with how much murder is committed? Take the Virgin Islands they are smaller than we are see how high their murder rate is. We are all humans with the same wiring, so a person who has a killer mentality can be found anywhere. We say we are God fearing people but we forget the Bible has to reveal itself.

    • Malatete
      November 28, 2016

The U.S.Virgin Islands’ population at 106,000 is bigger than that of Dominica but as of the end of august there were already 47m gun related murders, exceeding the annual murder rate of 39/100,000. Dominica’s rate is lower at 22/100, 000 but high compared with that of mainland U.S.A., which is 4.7/100,000

May the God of heaven and Earth comfort the family of the bereaved. Society has adapted the lifestyle of the developed countries and have drunken the wine of its sins! We watch television, perform the fruit of the sin of murder and have the guts to bury the body.
We have been exposed to many demonic realms and Christians have a responsibility in this introduction. We must live the life which we profess to be and pray out these entities from our societies back to the second heaven! If we diligently assume our rightful position in society God will protect us through the holy spirit and his designated angels. He will build a wall of fire around us so that no evil may harm us.
Where two or more are gathered in his name, greater things will happen.
Let’s suppress the kingdom of darkness! Start planning in your churches today! Wake up!
May the name of Jesus be glorified!

Signs of the time. If the Lord doesn’t shorten the days (according to scripture) no flesh would be saved. Take courage! This is the beginning of sorrows. God will come for His own – In a twinkle of an eye; we (born again saints of God) shall be caught up to meet Him in the air; And so shall we ever be with Him. Let’s pray for our friends and family. We are in Lot’s day. The world is getting more worldly and there isn’t much we can do.

      • analy thomas
        November 28, 2016

We can still pray for one another. Love them, show them the light, the way to salvation, live a sample life for them to follow, encourage them, caution them, guide them, but guard yourselves too,
        Ephesians 6:12King James Version (KJV)
“12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”
        Pray, Pray, Pray…

no matter how decomposed body is one can always tell the sex of the person. so stop giving wrong information. once the skeletal remains are found sex can be determined.

Why does he allow it Winston? He allows it because man asked for it. Man feels that he can rule himself without God and from creation they have asked to govern themselves. All of what we see happening is because of the evil that man has done. Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin but you know God is going to vindicate his name, cleanse this world and fully take back and bring everything under his control and then there will be no more allowing. He will cause only good things to happen.

How is it that the remains found cant be identified whether it be a woman or man, still a person is in custody? I think that investigations should be completed then an arrest can be made. Too often a person would be picked up arrested on suspicion only to be released after a few days, then everything dies.
