Sandy Ground:— A 16 year old student of a school on the Dutch side of the island identified only as Rick is now in police custody for stabbing his step father to death on Saturday evening. Unconfirmed reports state that the young lad went to the defence of his mother who was being abused by her reputed husband at the time of the incident.

So you mean after you take all your “blows” under your parents while growing up, you still have to go and take blows under a man?? He was quiet?? The quiet ones are the ones you have to look out for. Its the same dam thing, FRUSTRATION at the situation caused the lad to snap, and there is no turning back after that!! I dont kno what JOY these BASTARDS get out of beating their women, and I dont want to. Ive not experienced it, and neither have I seen it with my Parents, with my mom being a piman chaud by herself, but trust me, HIT ME AND KILL ME! one time, PLOW!!! Because if I get up after that, I might just snap too!
Women, take note, the abuse does not begin overnight or all of a sudden. It starts with the raising of voice, a threat, a little slap. It goes on gradually, if you don’t put down your feet and stop it, it will escalate. So I will say the women allow it to go that far. Don’t give your men an inch on you, because it will go a mile, and possibly to someone’s death, maybe yours.
Lessons to be learnt,,if it not working step out—beating is never the answer ,,,,,,so much ladies looking for companion,alas,,men take heed….Women take heed too,,why have a man beating nyou and you still with him?/

hypocrytes of eery one last one of you all. women aare not supposed to be beatenright?. you rejouice at the dceath of their abuser. but it is ok to beat children. i was beaten like a dog from my mother and father. it was seen by the public at times.where the hell was all tha anger. where is all tha anger when children are beaten.
I understand ur response though a lot of ppl seem to dislike. Look its up to u to break the chain of abuse. You had a bad time with your parents, but padner, if you get a GOOD’OOMAN!! Y on earth would you want to beat her? I am not rejoicing at his death, who knows maybe he was in his pot of fire, but beating is not the answer.
As a teacher I kno that no matter what you do to some children, they aint gonna change! The same goes for Women. SHe doh good, Tek she way!!! na put hands on her!! It’s not right. The women who stay and take it more wicked on it again.

I know this guy. Real quiet and peaceful fella. I am not sure how it all happened or how he turned out to be an abusive husband. Info still kind of sketchy, so I’ll leave the balance of my comments for later.

I dont support murder but definitely no young boy wants to see his mom abuse. i feel so sad for this young boy becuase he has to always be reminded that he killed someone. thats why i get pissed off with women who re,ain in abusive relationships. women get out of it please. think of your children your sons for Christ sake. they dont like to see you all abused and they become victims( im sure not calling him a murderer because he is not one). He should be at school now he is in police custody because women dont run outof abusise relationships. leave the men abusive men who only has a pr****.

There is my point about women who sacrifice themselves and their children just to say they have a man. Women, wake up!! Take responsibility for your actions!! Many times we think we must have a man. You have four children, you need a job not a man. You need to find a way to sustain and maintain your children. You pick up a scrub from the gutter just to say you have a man. He give you two dollars and thats it; he supporting me. For a piece of codfish, you sold out yourself and your children.
Women allow demons to physically, emotionally, silently and mentally abuse them. I say demons because a real man never puts his hand on a woman. Women need to know when they bear children it is their duty to protect them. Do not expose them to any form of punishment otherwise known as abuse. From the time the thing shows the first signs of abuse, dump him!! Protect yourself and your children!!
For the young man, I feel for you. It is so sad that it came to that. It also shows the shortcomings of our society. In times gone by, when it took a village to raise a child, this boy would have been raised by a family member who cared enough to take him out of the situation. Now, things have changed so drastically that even if the police was called to the house on numerous occasions, no one did a thing. We know on many occasions where women refuse to go through the courts to have these ‘men’ put away. I am not worried about the women. You make your decisions, you face it. My concern is the innocent lives. I do hope this young man gets proper legal representation. I hope the courts are very considerate and lenient with him. I do hope he gets the counselling he so desperately need. I do hope this can sensitize some women beaters.
It’s such a shame; dont judge the youth. Put your self in his place, witnessing the constant abuse of his mother. What would you do? You dont know. I feel sorry for the whole family. I don’rt want to say that he deserved it, but violence begats violence, and what goes around comes around. I am sure that the youngster did not mean to kill his stepdad, and only meant to protect his mother; but it all went wrong inevitably. My prayers go to the youth and his mum and sibblings.
I knew this was going to happen ONE DAY. These men need to stop beating up on their women. There is no way a teenage boy is going to sit there and watch his mom being constantly abuse. I hope they set him free.
