Is it me, but it seems that our police force just continue to fail at solving cases???????? All they seem to be doing is finding drugs. :?:

you are so right on this, if any of these people were drugs i bet they would have found them already. Their investigation tactics suck….They need to go back to the drawing board or at least get help from the outside.

Dominica is such a small country for all those criminal activities to go on and police cannot seems to solves those crime. It is time for Dominica police to get up their lazy butt and start solve crimes in Dominica because the country will become a Country where native born like myself and tourist wouldn’t want to come and send our US dollars. If the authority in Dominica cannot safeguard the well being of it most vulnerable citizens a 14 year young dchild shame on them.Dominica finish politicians corrupt; policemen have a laissez faire attitude; Dominica youths in a limbo; In my opinion Dominica have more unrest than the middle east. Dominica is now a depends of all those dictatorship country  and allow it people to depend on handouts. It sadness me to see how my peo

Fellow Dominican, do not blame the Police. Generally, the Police worldwide cannot (do not) solve all disappearances and murders. There are many missing people in the US of all. There are also many unsolved murders. No exception in Canada and elsewhere in other big countries. They call them cold cases. From time to time after some years a few cases are solved. Know too, some people who are imprisoned confide to other prisoners and implicate themselves.
The Police does a lot of undercover investigation; some very diligent and excellent ones. I do think that all policemen are interested in solving those cases. As in Dominica the D/ca Police are no exception. Please give them credit. Do not demean them.
Even though D/ca is a small country the Dominica Police Force can only investigate all associations and channels of missing persons and murders. Dominica is mountainous and there is a lot of bush.
This brings to my mind when Ted Honeychurch was murdered by the perpetrators. They hid in the depth of bushes in Dominica. As I state this it saddens me that such a nice, pleasant and quiet man as I knew him was murdered. To those who were familiar with this case, please correct me if I err about those perpetrators, in this case were hiding in the bushes of Dominica, for this occurred some years ago.
God knows who may have abducted Shanice. God knows where she is and also her abductor. As everyone of you I pray that she is unharmed and will soon be found.
I have strong faith and confidence in God. My consolation is, that all those who do evil God will punish them in His own good time, according to their actions for He rewards the good and punishes the wicked. When people lament about the state of the world/countries in any part of the world and atrocities committed by wicked people, I simply inform them about that and also state as my dear mother would say: “God is good!” I repeat this many times specifically when the occasion calls for it.
We should always keep in mind that God knows where the missing man is and all others who are missing. He also knows who murdered the man. If they are not caught, their day will surely come. They will not escape the just wrath of God in time. In fact, they are already caught, by God Himself.
Let us pray for Dominica’s Police Force. Pray also that all this evil will be eradicated from Dominica.
God bless you! God bless Dominica and all its residents.

If one look up at the Walmart Supermarket, there are lots of missing persons.
Here in Dominica we are following the same trend and the country is so small in terms of population. Hoping these weired disappearances will come to a close.

It is so sad to hear people are missing in Dominica. The teenager Michael is still missing. What is going on? We are no longer living in the era where adults and children alike were safe. In those days few people owned vehicles and people walked for miles to church, to work and back home with no incidents or disappearance.
There are adults who own guns and are using it on others, shooting, maiming and murdering them. I have asked how did those guns get into Dominica and by what means? Something is wrong with some people of today.
It is time for Dominica to have an amnesty on guns. People, you who have guns which are not utilized for hunting, please bring them to the Police Station or just do so incognito. No joking!
You are aware that guns kill people, depriving them of their lives as you expect to live.
The V – Fifth Commandment of God is: “Thou shalt not kill.”
If you murder someone and you are caught you may have to spend the rest of your God-given precious life in prison. Those are wasted years. God did not create you to spend your life incarcerated in prison. God has better plans for you, to assist your country, to live happily in this life and in the next with Him. He did not create you to harm and murder your fellow people.
If per chance you are not caught, know that God has seen what you have done. He has taken good note which is written in “The Book”, never to be erased. You cannot run away and hide from God.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said to a visionary: “He will find everyone and give them their just recompense as they deserve.”
In time, you will pay the price for murdering your brother/sister in Jesus Christ and causing his disappearance. Consider what that price will be – eternal damnation which you have wrought on yourself, condemning yourself for all eternity.
Give up evil and you will live happily in this world and in the next world – Heaven. O Happy Day!
Hebrews 12:14:15 – Penalties of Disobedience – Strive for peace with everyone, and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one be deprived of the grace of God, that no bitter root spring up and cause trouble…
May God enlighten you to see the light and assist you to turn away from crime. This is for your own good.
I wish you God’s blessing, graces and peace.
