“I don’t know what go through my head,” is what Job Stevens told Chief Magistrate Evelina Baptiste during his mitigation plea, after pleading guilty to shoplifting a $190 worth DVD player from Blue Sky Home Center on Cross Street, Roseau.
Stevens, who walked into the said store, picked up the DVD player and walked out of store without paying, was sentenced to pay the sum of $850 by October 20 2010 or in default will spend five months in prison.
The DVD player was recovered and ordered to be returned to the owner. The incident occurred on May 5, 2010 at 11:30 a.m.
According to the court, Stevens has previous convictions similar to his present offense.

I agree with Waste of Time. The only thing in your head was TAKE THAT S*** and WHO CARES. Well, you’ve got to pay for what you need. Get a JOB and if you’re not qualified for one disqualify yourself as a thief. Don’t you know if nothing good is in your head your result will be NOTHING GOOD. I hope you get that money (DON’T STEAL IT) before October. You get off EASY.
You is a dam tief! dat is wat you are! You don’t know wat go through your head? They should hang you upside down. All you like to touch people thing too much!
