Seven kilos of cocaine seized in Massacre

The police say seven kilograms of ‘alleged cocaine’ were confiscated in Massacre on the weekend.

The lawmen report that on Sunday, December 6, the Drug Squad and Task Force conducted an operation in the community during which a vehicle with registration number TR466 attempted to pose danger to one of their vehicles.

Two tyres of the other vehicle were deflated by gunshots causing it to stop.

The driver, who was the only male occupant of the vehicle was taken into custody and ‘alleged cocaine’ found, the police say.

The vehicle was seized and investigations are continuing.

Good job officers, but am a bit disappointed , next time put bullets in all four tyres, and in their ass too, but don’t kill them. The government and law gives you a gun to protect yourself use it, once again good job.

it is not right to be triggering gunshots in such a small community suppose their were children walking along the roadside to my point of view it is unfair because if skerrit were givig jobs to his dominicans it wouldn’t have so much drugs which brings in more money than getting employed for a job

The police risk their lives and that of their families to effect these drug bust. Yet some of us find that we should bash them.

This morning on QFM it was like the police was the villain could you imagine that. Man trying to get way with seven keys of cocaine and we criticize the police. For disabling the getaway vehicle.

    What a shame Q95 FM

Well so much for the “educated & informed” discussion on Matt in the Morning on the police actions by the numerous callers who were not on the scene or involved in the chase or part of the police detail. :-|

Based on the report above, it seems that one of these vagabonds tried to use their vehicle as a weapon against the police eh. Well in such a case the police has a right to fire upon these rogues, vagabonds and tyrants.

Ever gave this a thought? The more godless, the more Satan reigns, the more criminals/crimes and illegal drugs. It is not good for Dominica.

It is time we hold the police accountable for the truth. They should be protecting us and they tell so much lies to us. It seems we are paying taxes for employing the police to lie to us. How do they expect us to give them information when they do not give us the correct news to protect ourselves? :?:

I must say I am disappointed with Q95 regarding what they were trying to imply with the police stopping that vehicle, the firing of shots and the sandwiching of that vehicle. Now that I have another side to the story…… I say down with the report of Q95……..You all really spreading that negative business too far…. I cannot support that one

      • Justice and Truth
        December 11, 2012

Q 95 should be put out of business. This is what they deserve. They are the ones who have too much mouth for no good. We would think that they would support the police in crime-fighting. After all, the life, peace and safety of nationals are at stake with those type of criminals.

For the other readers, this could’nt happen on Dec.Sunday,6th. Dec. Sunday 6th was last year

If only the police force spent the same amount of time investigating child abuse, rapes, murders, incest, spousal abuse – the island would indeed be a paradise to live in.

Yes, drugs are bad, but there are far more important things that ails our community. Let’s focus on those things. Legalize the drugs and done!

    • Justice and Truth
      December 11, 2012

      @ FED UP

Pertaining to what you stated, if the police are contacted they must make a report. Then there are lawyers whom the victims or family of the victims should contact to file a Court case. Who are you blaming in this respect? Do not (only) blame the police.
