Kenny Valmond, from the community of Sineku in the Kalinago Territory, is now a patient at the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) nursing injuries to his left arm after being attacked with a cutlass.
Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Acting Inspector Pellam Jno Baptiste said the alleged attack took place at about 11:00 pm on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Mahaut River .
Valmond was attacked with a cutlass by another adult male of that community.
Jno Baptiste said Valmond was transported to the Castle Bruce Health Centre where he received medical attention before he was transferred to the Accident and Emergency Department of the PMH, where he was examined by a medical doctor before being admitted.
Investigations are ongoing.
At 11:00 pm? What were they doing there at that time?
His plan was to sever his arm? Some of them, at the slightest disagreement will get angry and pick up a weapon to injure or murder the other.
This person has a wicked heart; the nerve to do something like that. I wonder if he is sane. He should be examined by a psychiatrist. If it is proven he is sane, he should be charged and sentenced to prison for some time.
Some types as these are beyond rehabilitation. He may be an ignorant person and one to fear being in his company.
Ask the puppets!!!!
Still, seems very prevaliant, M.O. We wish the victim a speedy Recovery. To the alleged pepertrator, be mindful of the fact we have given you all a different Name.
the scamp probably would not use the cutlass to weed a piece of ground that is if he knows but somebody’s arm is no problem.
Cutlass again some time soon they will ban cutlass.

So much violence in the land. Is anyone concerned about the underlying causes of such violent acts?
