Dominica News Online has learnt that police are investigating the death of a man who has been found hanging in his house in Woodfordhill.
Paul Lawrence, also known as Tokes, was found around 4:00 this morning by his girlfriend. It is reported that he was found hanging on his porch from some wire which was used as clothesline.
Police are tight lipped on the matter and won’t say whether the incident is a homicide or a suicide.
Villagers however speculate it could be a homicide as Lawrence, who is in his early 50’s, has allegedly been involved in some major crimes. However, DNO could not confirm this.
DNO is following this story and will bring information as it becomes available.
Reading the comments here by those who have blindly allowed themselves to be indoctrinated by organized religion, it’s painfully clear that Religion will be the death of Dominica. How you can even claim to worship the same god that the Europeans used to enslave your forefathers and forced them to worship? Can you not see the irony in all this?

I have known Tokes for a long time and he had been a very good friend to me…he loved my son so much there was not a time that he would not meet me and ask about him…especially when he was working on hunt road he also lived there and he was a very kind neighbor..its sad to know that he allowed the devil to take control of his life…it is also sad to know that he had the opportunity to become a christian after attending our crusade…i remember asking him if hes gonna get baptized..my heart goes out to dando and mckellum and the other sisters..who also appreciated my son as their brother…may you find comfort and strenght in Jesus…am not in Dominica but my prayers will be with you..all my love…wesgirl
