Just one day after Dominican, Dalton Le Blanc, was arrested in a bizarre crime case, new details are emerging on what happened on the night he reportedly killed a baby on the island of St. Maarten.
Media reports said Le Blanc has been described by friends as hardworking but a quiet person. But recently, according to the reports, he had a change in personality “and appeared to be on a downward spiral.”
This was strengthened by the fact that a source in St. Maarten told DNO that he had become disruptive at work the morning of the incident and was sent home. Le Blanc worked as a security guard at Sheriff Security.
Based on police and media reports, below is the possible chain of events which led to the shocking crime.
-Around 11;30 pm on Tuesday Le Blanc got into an altercation at the Defiance Heaven Night Club. It is reported that he had hit a car in the parking lot of the establishment and left.
-Upon leaving the scene he struck several other vehicles.
-His vehicle ran into a wall in an area called Middle Region and in a rage, he jumped out and entered a house occupied by a family originally from Jamaica.
-Around the same time the police responded to a call of a break-in
-The occupants of the house were already in bed but the mother, Latoya Morgan, heard a loud bang and upon investigation saw the front door open and a shirtless man standing in the living room. The man was speaking gibberish and she thought he was a burglar.
-Morgan hid in a bathroom but later fled to get assistance
-The landlord called the police but was told they were already on their way
-Morgan heard her baby crying and out of concern went back into the house. The house was ransacked and she saw droplets of blood. She panicked.
-The man, who was later identified as Le Blanc, grabbed the baby from its crib.
-Le Blanc left the house with the baby and in a rage began to shake it violently
-He slammed the baby on the road killing it instantly.
-The police arrived on the scene and upon approaching noticed that Le Blanc had something in his hand
-He dropped what he had in his hand and it turned out to be the baby
-A struggle ensued and Le Blanc was arrested
-The baby was pronounced dead at the scene.
It seems that a lot of people are asking DNO to research thoroughly before reporting to the public.. That might be a good thing, then we’d get less sketchy details… Consider it DNO.

Why did he choose her house and not the other houses? why did she go in the bathroom without her baby? We are only making judgement but not one of us know for sure what happenned to this young man to cause him to behave so but God knows everything. It is said always place yourself in the person’s shoes. Something caused him to react so violently. Normal people would not do what he did. Let the St. Maarten police authorities handle the situation. We will hear more.

I did find it strange that Dalton choose this house to enter into. Yes, why did the mother leave her baby and go hiding? The baby is gone, and Dalton could be just as innocent as the baby, but the baby is never coming back. I feel for both families. I know him from birth until he migrated, I also know his entire family, very close friends. We all grow up together in the same back yard and he has never been known to be violent or problematic, very easy going like his father and rest of family. It is very strange hearing this news.

As I read this I shook my head and exclaimed, “Oh boy. Oh dear.” This is a real puzzle of what caused him to do this. Bizarre indeed that one who was employed in a reputable place, no doubt, having a stable job could resort to something like that.
