The St. Martin police have arrested three persons for the murder of “Jah Lee,” a Dominican that was brutally murdered Friday afternoon in the Concordia district of the island.
The St. Martin News Network (SMN) reports that two suspects were arrested on Friday evening while the other was apprehended on Sunday. It is reported that the police knew the killers since several people, including children, witnessed the killing of Jah Lee.
The Dominican lost his life at the Louie Constance Fleming Hospital after being beaten twice. It is reported that he was attacked, beaten and stabbed by a group of young men earlier last week and after receiving medical attention he was released on Friday.
However on Friday while walking in the district of Concordia, he was attacked again with a baseball bat. It is said that he was also stabbed for a second time.
Jah Lee was unable to recuperate from his injuries that he received to his head and died while he was being treated.
The reason for the attack is still not known.
