One of the organizers of Stardom Tent has clarified a longstanding issue, allowing last year’s Stardom Monarch Tarina Simon to obtain her prize trip.
Simon had complained that the show’s organizer’s and sponsors delayed in issuing a confirmation letter to Whitchurch Travel Agencies preventing her from receiving the promise trip on the L’express des isles ferry.
However, Christopher Dangleben of Stardom Tent has clarified the matter and arrangements have been made for Simon’s prize to be delivered to her.
Dangleben told Dominica News Online that he met with the relevant sponsors St. Andrew’s Furniture and Charu’s Boutique on Thursday to address the matter and the parties in question are expected to honour their commitments. He also spoke with the travel agency to settle the issue.
“Her prize will definitely be handed over to her,” Dangleben stated, although he declined to say what caused the delay.

IF she did not talk , they would not have remember her?
The lady has every right to be upset at such a long delay. If the prize for winning the crown is a trip, it should not have taken more than 2 weeks to deliver on that prize. This is a common occurence with many of the carnival shows. The organizers need to do much better than that. Surely they ought to have known they had not delivered to the young lady.
That is total slackness.
Patience is virtue. Sometimes the best plans fail due to circumstances beyond our control. Nice to know that this 2009 contestant’s prize will finally be honored….. better late than never. Although much later than expected, this is an opportunity to take a trip which might yield a lot more than expected. Just appreciate the prize and enjoy the trip while you cruise with an opened mind.
