Well, well, if somebody has to donate paint and galvanize for people to fix up their place to make it look good, things must be really bad in DA! It is that mind of mediocrity that will always make people accept and feel comfortable in a deplorable state when better can be done. Come on, take a look at those buildings on the main street in the second town – it’s an eye sore…something better needs to be done. People have to take responsibility to beautify their surroundings.
i feel like shitting of ya’ll faces :D
quenchie girls seems like they’re more than 15 years old, I know its carnival season and all but why do they have to be in the same costumes as the older ladies….#let kids be kids cover em up a bit
i belive that those business in possie need to start help with the organs .every time we have to look for roseau people to come down.
Wow, that’s how Portsmouth looks? Those buildings need upgrading or a face lift – new roof, power wash and fresh paint! Either renovate those old architectural buildings or build modern ones. Looks very depressing as it is now.
why don’t u donate ur paint and galvanize,u all are always looking at the negative!!!!
Roseau opening PArt @ in Possie
I think those girls in photo 25 need some periactin (point on them)
lol lol
I’m from Portsmouth but this parade was a damn shame.
In other 4 the parade not to be such a shame lazy people like u need to get of ur but and make a contribution
you had a good pay day, you get your supper so u must sing now. And we possie ppl will continue to celebrate mediocrity. that what we like rum and not representation, but we to blind to see. thanks GOD for roseau ppl we in possie had an opening.
they came for the rum and the party.
Last year was pathetic. These pictures look like it was better this year.
opening of carnival in portsmouth looking greater than Roseau opening
am from the north and i applaud all efforts to shed positive light on that area of the island BUT truss me..that was the most disorganized, ill advised opening of carnival in possie i have ever seen! i been to all opening of carnivals in grandbay, roseau, marigot..juss name it…and this was the worse…not shedding or casting the blame on anyone in particular but it wasnt something to be excited about. i heard a patron from possie say…dem man more interested in making money in jam inside discos and wherever else than to put an effort in creating something for ppl to come to look @…the parade started off with like wat…7 floats? if u call flag wavers floats…one Queen i saw was Leslassa..trying a fing…where and how as possie represented in this?…where were the business houses in possie?…much can be said about roseau too but..roseau is a done deal…
another point…the vehicles parked on the main road leading up to the market? like seriously?…there was a sizeable crowd on that main street and for you to tell me…on that same street..the parade has to pass…WCK truck and its followers had to pass and yet the left side of the street was lines with vehicles..oh my…carnival has been whittled down to WCK and KKk…and where dey playing, wats the price and who going more naked!
I wish I could thumbs up 100 times
