Bouyon giant WCK is expected to headline Mas Marigot’s opening this Saturday 15th of February 2014.
“It is the first in many years that the Bouyon pioneers will be a part of Marigot’s opening events,” a release from the organizers said.
They are promising a “high level energy performance” from the group.
Several groups and organisations including village dance troupe’s, Junior Monarch contenders, Princess Pageant participants, school groups, reigning Mas Marigot Queen and 2014 National Queen contestant, Tourence Dorsette, will form part of Saturdays official opening parade.
The official Parade will get under way from 3:30 pm at the Marigot fisheries complex and will proceed east to Weirs flat where a formal ceremony will be held.
