DHTA to hold annual cocktail party this weekend

DHTA says Hike Fest was a success

The Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association (DHTA) will hold its annual cocktail party on Saturday.

The event will provide a platform for networking and face to face interaction among stakeholders, including financiers, employers, employees and others in the tourism industry.

“It’s a time for the tourism industry to shine, an opportunity for the stakeholder’s within the industry to get together and celebrate,” Nikima Royer, Vice President of the Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association said.

Achievements in the last year have helped in the growth of the association, Royer stated who also pointed out to the association’s healthy financial status.

The association also boasts of the highly successful Hike Fest and “Experience Dominica” Magazine as some of its accomplishment over the past year.

In the last year the DHTA has also been able to accumulate sponsors for its plans and activities.

The event is carded for Fort Shirley in Portsmouth.
