That’s nothing more than a show, a sham, just another program. Charles Savarin knows, Roosevelt Skerrit knows and cabinet ministers know that Dominica is not free! Yes we gained our independence from Britain in 1978 and though we had to battle some devastating hurricanes and the unfortunate removal of Patrick John from office yet, we got a taste of independence and celebrated independence until the powers that be told us that Pierre Charles died in office in 2004, a death Tony told us was caused by the DLP when the backstabbed him.
Since Skerrit came into office we lost our independence as Skerrit himself is on record saying we are too free and he didn’t like our freedom. So now we are like children that don’t know their father. We don’t know if we are a colony of China or slaves of Roosevelt Skerrit and Anthony Hayden. What we now see is blood of sons all over Dominica; but let’s wait until Skerrit seizes the presidency and he imposes whoever he wants as Prime minister to see

How can there be a Unity of purpose when the double doctorate dude says that Dominca doesn’t need opposition parties. His actions have proven that he will do anything in his powers to have his party remain in office. It’s not a happy independence day when there are so many in poverty and Skerritt continues to lead Dominca down a rabbit hole to dictatorship. Happy days must come

Does anyone have a cle what Loreen Bannis actually does, never mind why she deserves an award? I can think of a hundred Dominica nurses and other front line workers who are a trillion times more deserving.
