Dominica draws with Antigua & Barbuda in Road to Concacaf Gold Cup Women’s Qualifier

In the Road to the CONCACAF Gold Cup Group Stage Matches, Dominica and Antigua and Barbuda played to a scoreless draw at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Saint Lucia.

The match saw several close opportunities for both teams. Dominica had 14 shots on goal, while Antigua had 12 shots.

Dominica GK Celia Gregoire registered 10 saves, and a clean sheet to give Dominica the lead to earn its first point. Antigua and Barbuda’s GK Anik Jarvis recorded six saves.

 The draw keeps both teams in striking distance of first place and sets the stage for the upcoming match on Sunday, October 29 in Antigua at the ABFA Technical Center.
