Government organizations collaborate for redesigning of Adopt a Bench project

The Roseau City Council, under the stewardship of the Mayor of Roseau, His Worship Cecil Joseph with support from the Ministry of Community Development, local village councils, the Planning Division and the Police Force has embarked upon another “Adopt a Bench” project.

The project which is designed to help in the further development of the City and villages around Dominica was first implemented several years ago.

This year however, the benches will be improved to ensure that they withstand weather conditions and wear and tear.

“New materials will be placed on the benches island wide which will restore their original beauty, enhance the overall esthetic appeal and significantly improve the quality and lifespan of the benches,” according to a press release.

The press release also noted that the programme of bench advertising was developed to fill a comfort need to the community, and ensuring its sustainability through the purchase of advertising space by the private sector.

Hmmmm….all well and good but the mayor needs to be replaced cause if this is being done because city council elections are nearing then this is and outright scam for this lazy “…….” and self serving mayor to try and win back the sit. He should have been sacked a long time ago. Look at how it happened with the people of silver lake up to today’s date they are yet to provide those idiots who voted for them with the materials required to upgrade their homes.

Now elections near and he want to do this that and the other once elected back to the same old S…

Roseau is a dump because of the mayor’s self serving management attitude……
