Warner Road gets facelift

Section of the road under repair

The China Railway 17 (CR17) Bureau Group Co Ltd, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Works, Energy and Ports, assisted in patching a portion of the Warner road last weekend.

According to project manager, Jing Hao, the company was happy to accommodate the minister’s request.

“Upon the request of Minister Blackmore, CR 17 Bureau Group Co Ltd was happy to provide our services. CR 17 provided a total of 18 laborers and 5 different types of machinery to patch the one kilometer long section of road,” Hoa said.

The material was provided by the Ministry of Public Works, Energy and Ports for the operation, which coincided with the village’s feast.
Villagers of the community of Warner were happy and satisfied with the job and were very appreciative.

One villager shouted, “Thank you for everything that you have done for us. You are great.”

In this 21 century we still think that when government patch up a roadway that they have gone beyond their responsibility and has done us a great favor. In this case the shameless government had to use the Chinese contractor to come patch up the roadway, asphaltic concrete was provided by the government. This is a clear indication that the government system is in shambles. Our local people can’t get work and government can’t pay public work personnel so why not ride the back of the Chinese contractor. A government without shame- While the cabinet is getting rich they continue to beg for charity even to patch up a 1.2 miles of roadway. Wow that is the real deal. Next level of begging and poverty.
What next the Chinese will soon become Port workers and immigration officers?

Glad this much needed repair was done. Just wonder what happened to our own Public Works Corp? They are hardly visible these days. Have they bitten the dust, thrown in the towel to operators from overseas?

Yes they have. I must admit they are in a serious state of neglect by this administration who owes them millions and giving out all the contracts to outsiders like Gadhakan and the likes. My family had to wait till mid month to get their salary and it wasn’t even the whole thing! Shame and then they have 27 plus million to build all kind of unnecessary things and going on all kinds of trips and bringing their concubines along………
