The Ministry of Education is currently distributing the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Examination results to schools and individuals.
According to local registrar Catherine Daniel, the results were released on August 17 at the Caribbean Examination Council’s (CXC) head office in Barbados.
“CXC said the results would be due in Barbados on August 17 [and]expect to have it on Wednesday or Thursday. Results are out and schools have collected their results,” she told Dominica News Online.
Daniel said her department is busy analyzing and conducting individual distributions.
Students can collect results from their schools and those who sat the exams privately can obtain results at the Ministry of Education’s Cornwall Street office.
“In the past CXC would tell you results would be out on the 17 in Barbados and you’d get it days after that, but this year they said it would be out on the 17th and we got it on the 17th, so that’s a big plus. Kudos to CXC for that,” Daniel remarked.
Up to press time, the top students were unknown.
A press conference will be held by the Ministry of Education to announce the top students.
