Good Luck to Tony and Shanda.
Go, Shanda. Lighthouse all the way!!!
This reading competition must be revisted. Most of the children including the winners have no idea of how words are pronounced.
I strongly suggest that some people such as Ken Richards, Tim Durand, Shermaine Green Brown, Raymond Lawrence and a few others be consultants to the participants before the competition.
It is a shame to hear a Dominican mis-pronounce the word “banana”.
This is good to encourage reading. Too bad for many adults who have chosen not to learn to read. Maybe some program can be instituted for them.
What happened to San Sauveur? The school does not participate in such activities???????
Go Mallet! You winning the whole thing.
