Dominica Association of Teachers to honor 12 educators

The Dominica Association of Teachers (DAT) will tomorrow honor 12 educators who have given dedicated service to education in Dominica, when it holds its 16th Annual General Meeting at the Garraway Hotel under the theme “Invest now to secure the future”.

The keynote address will be delivered by Mrs Verlie-Shaw Joseph; while there will also be remarks from the Education Minister Peter St Jean and Minster of National Security Charles Savarin.

The business session will follow and will be opened to financial members of the association only.

Remarks are also expected from President of DAT, Celia Nicholas.

The event will commence at 8 a.m.

    Congrats to all those who will be awarded for their hard work. I know that the job of an educator/ teacher is a very difficult one in our time. Keep on keeping on.
