A former American pornography star is in Dominica on a campaign to effect positive change.
Danielle Williams, 21, started off in the porn industry at age 18 and said it presented an opportunity to make more money, but now she says she is living a life solely for Jesus Christ.
She will meet the public at the Public Service Union from 7 p.m. today to talk about her transition from porn star to a Minister of the Gospel.
Though Williams has described it as a tough road, she told DBS Radio’s Talking Point Monday that she is not regretting the path her life has taken.
“I’d beat myself up so bad because of it. I was ashamed, I was disappointed, I was everything, disgusted… Every emotion I went
through that, because of my decision but later on … once I got in the ministry I figured…I had to go through that because had I not gone through that, it wouldn’t be no Minister Danielle Williams, it would just be Danielle Williams,” she said.
“Now I don’t regret it ’cause I know why I did it,” she emphasized.
Williams has planned to speak to students of various high schools in Dominica over the coming days. She will pay a visit to the Portsmouth Secondary School Tuesday, and will also go to communities around the island in hopes of spreading a positive message.
Williams visited St. Vincent and the Grenadines last year to drive forward her campaign.

If you knew so much about Paul, you would know that God allowed him12 years after his conversion before he started to preach the Gospel. And what was Paul’s background when God chosed him? He was man with the zeal for God through his Jewish faith; not a man trapped in the life of immoral sex, wicked murder, drugs addiction, and the other abominations of this worldly system of existence. Who trained and disciplined Paul to preach the Gospel? Paul tells us God alone, through His Person, Jesus Christ–the wisdom, revelation, sanctification or consecration, by the Power of His Holy Spirit.
Paul was on the wrong track, according to the true ways of God, but God knew that He could transform Paul to do His work through Him; and so it was done. All people must turn from their ways of sinfulness, evil, and wickedness by choice, for their own Salvation, and God grants it to them freely, by their faith. But God chooses His own servants to do His work. He does not send people out into the world with the examples of their sinful life to preach His Gospel. We all have a sinful nature; God wants us to acknowledge this truth by our own discernment.
Once we have acknowledged this about ourselves, God will do the rest by the authority of His Holy Spirit; not by the choice of Danielle Williams or anyone else who claims to have all the spiritual power in this world; not even by the words of some of today’s new translations of the Holy Bible, believe it or not! That is how deep God’s Holy Spirit has trained me to discern His wisdom and revelation. I do not care, if you don’t believe me.
Also consider the kind of persecution that Paul went through when he started to preach the gospel and up to his death. Jesus said to Ananias–the man whom He chosed to baptize Paul–I will show him how many things he must suffer for my sake.” Acts 9: 16
Do you know how many times Paul had to face court and imprisonment for preaching the Gospel. Do you know that he had to teach the churches, which God established through his work, by writing letters to them from a prison cell? Do you know that God allowed Paul to become sick, even to the point of death, in order to keep him humble, so that he would do his work through the authority of God, without pride, arrogant, haughtiness, and most of all, not through his knowledge of human wisdom and philosophy?
Do you know that Paul refused payment–a paycheck– for his work, from the churches. Paul reminds us of what we must suffer because of our Love for God: As he says: “For Your sake–God’s sake–we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter” Roman’s 8: 36 Paul and the other apostles we prepared to die every day, because of their love for God alone, not because they desired to have titles, fame, and recognition.
Can you actually tell me that Danielle Williams is aware of, or prepared for the trial and tests that she must undergo as God transforms her human mind to know Him and His ways of Love in Jesus Christ? Do you actually believe she has anything to tell young people that will encourage them to put God on the top of the list. The first thing she, or her sponsors did was to start selling videos and books on the Internet–another money-making scam, that might further provoke the minds of our young people to turn away from God’s ways.
If you, yourself was aware of the massive twine that Satan has used to bind your mind, you would know that God would not take a young person, with the past lifestyle of Danielle Williams, and to lead him/her to believe he/she has the mind of Jesus Christ within 3 years from corruption to conversion. Danielle will have to continue in her surrender to God for quite a few more years, but she will even be able to speak a testimony of God’s Holy Spirit to the public.
The majority of you people do not understand my comments because of your lack of knowledge of the Wisdom and revelation of God’s Holy Spirit and His ways of Love in His Person, Jesus Christ. All of you are lacking of spiritual wisdom ” to know what is the width, and length and depth and height–to know the Love of Jesus Christ which “passes”–is beyond–knowledge; that you may be filled with the fullness of God”. Not that this is a surprise to me; as I am fully aware of Satan’s intention in this world. His basic scheme is to keep us separated from God, he knowing God’s ways, as he uses imposters to block the human mind, preventing that mind to be able to discern from his wicked schemes and the true work of God in our lives.
If you had understood my comment, you would notice that I am not against that young lady’s intention. I do not dismiss that she may have decided to surrender her Life to God. But Satan, through someone, a group of people, or her own carnal mind, is misleading her.
Danielle is moving ahead of the God’s plan for her Life, and that is a bad move; a destructive one too, as it seem that she is nurturing the attitude and conducts of self-righteousness. Hear her words once more: I would not be “Minister Danielle Williams”, it would just be “Danielle Williams”. That is an expression of self pride, just in case you people are not aware of that.
If Danielle’s conversion was a true work of God’s Holy Spirit, by faith, she would realize that the first commitment in her Life would be to set aside precious time to maintain “an intimate relationship with God”, as by her faith, He would nurture her conscience to build up in knowledge of His Love, which is Life in Spirit and in Truth–the ways of His Person, Jesus Christ.
As some of the people who understand my wisdom says: Satan is using “gullibility”–lack of caution– in the minds of you people, to give him the victory he is searching for, against God, who love us so much. Satan is so stupid to believe he can have victory against God. You people are even more stupid than him, allowing him your souls, as you feed him on a silver platter, when you refuse to take heed of the words of those God has chosen to bring Salvation to the world.
But God is a God of Love–a stature of Holiness, Truth, Light, mercy, and compassion. He will show mercy to those who deserve it. He will give Salvation to those who ask for it, by their faith, trust, humility, and obedience, to Him, as He teaches us through His Person, Jesus Christ.
Through God’s justice, the just, like the unjust will have their rewards. “Make sure you know what the nature of your reward is, before your days in this world come to an end”. You will not have that privilege after you die; for God is not a God of the dead, but He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and those else, who became reconciled to His Love, before they went to their graves. What more is there left to say to you guys? Nothing, nothing at all!

I am sorry that you felt that I was a bit harsh; but I speak through the emotions of God’s Holy Spirit; who often grieves, because of the rejection of His people. He expresses that same grief through my emotions, as my mind discerns from my conscience God’s delight or His displeasure.
You will hear Jesus expressing that same grief, as your read and study the Holy Bible. And now I know you will understand why. At times Jesus had to call people hypocrite, He had to tell in plain words that they were blind, they were dead, and they were children of the devil. Look at His reaction when He found people using the Temple as market place! Imagine how those people felt about Jesus, as He angrily overturned their merchants tables, using a rope to whip them out of the Temple. What human mind would believe Jesus had so much love for people, as they witnessed His conducts on that day?
But He went on to face humiliation, suffering, bled, and died on the cross. He took our sinful nature to the grave and He left it there, through His resurrection, that we might believe and have Eternal Life.

what are you talking about – haven’t you heard of the story of Sol now Paul from Damascus – he was transformed instantenously from a prosecutor of christains to a disciple of Jesus- you still questioning the power and ability of Jesus and God one of the same to transform people -no matter vwhat age ,race religion or creed -time, experience, knowledge , status is sometimes of no essence with God – he will work through anybody at anytime- I have read of anti-christ persons/terrorist who transformed their lifes from haters of the Word to advocates of Christ in minutes- I have since smokers of many many years just all of a sudden stop smoking or drinkers stop drinking while others said that was just for show and that their addiction will drive them back to it and those guys never ever drank or smoked again in their lives – there are others who will have had to go through counselling and therapy etc but we are not all the same my dear.; I take the point she must now sustain that change and give God the Glory but why question the workings of God through the young and inexperienced. My dear, Gods timing and schedule and plan is not yours or mine, it can not be measured nor timed for a 1000years for us may be a minute for God – also when one wants instance gratification and answers to prayers God may take his own time to answer and sometimes we question why our prayers are not answered while on other occassions before we say amen the prayers are answered. Stop questioning the power of transformation -of the almighty – and by the way what better vessel than a young person to speak to young persons – you mean she should be more experienced both in the pron business and then as a born again believer or transformed person before she speaks out on what she went through and having made a better life out of it – I would rather give her a chance at spreading her conviction and saving some from what is a rampant sin and immoral way of life in our society especially among our youth and have her change one life rather than to question her to the extent of throwing out doubt in our young people mind and have no change whatsoever in the sexual decay taking place in society. When was the years that this yound “human being” went through cleansing and sanctification to Know God and His ways of Love in Spirit and Truth? The people of Israel had to spend 40 years in the wilderness to get training from God, but they still continued to be sinful and disobedient people after the entered the promise land!

Have you people not heard that Miss Williams has no idea that God’s work through her, and in her, is not about fame, fortune, and a title for herself, but it is about allowing God to glorify His ways of Love in her. Miss Williams you are projecting a good intention, but if that is God’s will in your Life I would advise to be humble, patience, trustful and obedient let Him do His work through you, yes! It seem as if people, or you desire to be recognized and impress people has influenced you to run before learn to crawl, but that is not how God works in us at all, you know! “He said no flesh shall glory in my presence” yes!
Looks like you are pushing for medals and honors for yourself through that intention, rather than allowing God to train and discipline your mind by your faith, to prepare you for the work He has planned to do through you, but God can change His mind if you push Him too far, you know!
Be careful what you are saying to our young people in Dominica. Okay? Your thing about saying you came from a lifestyle of sexual immorality, to Jesus Christ, is not a big deal to the rest of us you know! All sorts of people do that, and after a while they just go back to whateve their sinful conducts were, because their mind was never transformed to know the Life of Love, in Spirit and in Truth, at all.
Now if you are not talking to our young people in Dominica about Love and Life in the Spirit, they do not need to hear the rest of your stuff, you see! You know why? Because all of us have that sinful nature, and we have to realize it for ourselves–by our own faith, one way or the other, before God can really start transforming us by that same faith in us.
God gives each of us a measure of faith, but depending on how much we allow Him to teach us how to use it, that is how big it will grow, to give Him the glory. We do not give glory to God because somebody tell us how they were a Porn Star, and now they have a name with Pastor, Father, or Minister before it.
You are not the first one, neither are you the only one, to go from a sinful lifestyle to trying to give your Life to God, through change of lifestyle. But you are just on the first step to your New Life, you have a long, long way to go. Believe it or not!

in the american society anybody can be a star. that show Jersey shore is just about young adults partying and having sex with a camera in their face and they’re stars, they don’t contribute anything positive to their community or society yet they’re famous and they call them stars and everybody just loves them. that’s their culture. once you get to be on TV and do something that ppl will respond to, you’re a star, you’re famous.

We need young people to see upstanding role models that they can pattern on and not even be enticed by illicit and dehumanizing conditions. That is what we need, adults who can be examples to our youth!
Her story is hers to tell, I listened to her on DBS, I’m happy she turned her life around and if she can touch one life then so be it, but I still don’t see her as any role model that Dominican children need to rescue them. In the US many young women go astray and take those roads because they don’t want to listen. The easiest claim these days is “I WAS ABUSED” you don’t even know who to believe it’s an excuse for bad behaviour. I don’t know her personally so these are generalisations, however I firmly dislike how Dominicans love to embrace any and everybody that come with some story and throw GOD before it. 2 years out of prostitution, drugs, crime is still a work in progress, I just don’t buy it. I think she got out of the industry, became a christian, and someone planted the idea in her head that she can make money by writing a book, making a video and touring. The money making part of this robs me the wrong way!
If this were a Dominican woman or Caribbean woman we would be lynching her. Dominica has many role models for our youth, they need to step out of their comfort zone, and little worlds and touch lives. Let us start looking within our mountains to rescue our children and stop the importation of all things foreign.

I agree with most of what you say except when you dismissed the effects of abuse on the mind of a child. Most childen can function very well even if they face some sort of physical abuse. However if the abuse is sexual in mature, chances are, without early professional care, they will be messed up later in life.

I don’t understand you at all. Why don’t we need people like her? So what your saying is that people can;t make wrong decisions in there life and then sooner or later change their life for the better. You are saying what we need are more people who never got involved in the business in the first place however isn’t it those who have been through,aren’t they the ones to tell us about there experiences and encourage us to make right decisions. I big up this girl. There are many drug addicts today who are now pastors on a mission for God. I think we should just give this girl a listening air and like you said lets hope that she is an inspiration to all of us.
