I am interested in this because my wife Sarah is partly of an Indigenous ancestry. We have served aboriginal churches on Indian Reserves in Canada for years.

I congratulate the Kalinago Youth Council for moving forward in activities beneficial to the Kalinago youth. When it comes to education the young people of the Territory want to know what is available and what are their options. More than anything they want to know how to get there. Often being able to talk to others who have “been there, done that” can be a tremendous help.

Young people let me leave you with this. There are three kinds of people.

    Those who MAKE things happen.
    Those who WATCH things happen.
    Those who ASK “What happened?”

Knowledge is power. Get the information you need to MAKE things happen first in your own life and you
will become a mover and a shaker in your world.

    Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist

:?: First of all, how many of them truly look like a Kalinago, dressed as a Kalinago and have a Kalinago name :?: Seems like the indigenous people are disappearing and all will be left is the name Kalinago territory :?: Whilst they seem to talk about, education, culture and heritage,by the looks of them it’s the contrary :?: It’s one thing about this island that’s popular,is more talk than action! What is the education that they are talking about, when they continue to be miseducated by rogues posing as government with a prime mistake, whom they continue to vote for with nothing to show as progress! You all continue to be brainwashed by a few negro slaves in your own land! It’s evidently clear that you all are not enlightened with the evidence of the illegal rogues posing as government using one brother for two terms, dumping him, then using another brother for one and dumping him,yet you all continue to vote for these rogues! Before you all try to form any group, you better get educated!

Lots have been happening among Kalinago youth. Very positive atmosphere. The Youth is embracing responsibility for the development of their community and their country as well. You are the prospective leaders, hence embrace opportunities for not only discussing educational and business opportunities as a healthy cultural socio-economic community but ensuring that they are realized. I pray God ‘s guidance in all your endeavours.
