Please note that this is not our national wear. WE must stop bearing false witness. The youth has absolutely no knowledge of what their fore parents used to wear. Thanks to the Ministry of Culture who went to host a workshop at Fort Young Hotel to substitute our National wear for costumes,

you are so right. I have been saying that all along. If I were a seamstress I would not have made money because I would not make that for someone. You would have to go to someone else.

Leave the young girls alone. In fact I think they are being very creative with the madras. Not everyone wants to be weighed down in the hot sun by layers of cloth such as is in the wob or jupe. Stop being negative and appreciate creativity. I see no one dressed indecently there, so its all well and good.

The boys look good….some of those young ladies have too much z’affaire with their creole wear. what’s with the tights that have the see-through net streaming down the side. I can understand if they going to a creole party but not school man. what’s wrong with the traditional wear. In a couple years they won’t even know what it looks like.
