2nd Yellow Festival at Petite Savanne

The 2nd Annual Digital Vybez Presented Yellow Festival is on. This is according to Local Publishing Site of the band IzavybezEntertainment.

According to officials of the Group, the event will take place in the form of a diverse Community festival through partnership with the Petite Savanne Village Council, Producers of the Annual Fete Ti Savanne Activities, with a grand Collaborative Presentation of the Ti Savanne Got Talent Showdown on Friday October 5th.

This year Marks the 6th Anniversary of the group with the unit as a band celebrating a third Anniversary, according to band leader Clement Moise, the decision to team its efforts with Council, was nothing short of the continued collaborative spirit which exist in the Band. Moise further states that it is the bands Intentions to continue serving to foster a positive build up of community and self through its Music and Yellow Fest Activities.

Meanwhile the groups management has stated that after Six years together as a unit and having reviewed the success of Yellow Fest 2011. the band will deliver a second edition of the much requested celebration to its largest Group of supporters and the general Dominican public, according to the groups release this years event takes place 2 weeks prior to actual Anniversary as Part of a Partnership Between the Petite Savanne Village Council Organisers of the Fete Ti Savanne activities and the Group.

The Main event “Yellow Fest” will take place on Saturday October 6th 2012 with the Grand Yellow Eve will feature host band Digital Vybez alongside The Ncore Band who will perform in the area for the very first time expectations are high as the Main yellow themed event is expected to Surpass the 2011 hosting.

The weekend of activities is set to feature a number of local acts/Artiste with a Include a Friday opening with several of the Community, young talents taking Center stage is Planed wherein Groups and individuals from the South will share in a grand Community show. According to female Vocalist of the Band Twana Paquette, the feature of a Ti Savanne Got Talent on Friday October 5th and Cultural Showdown on Sunday October 7th to climax with the Fanatik Band are all intended to ensure that the Fete Ti Savanne and Yellowfest activities are open to all age groups.

According to the release many have already expressed their interest in the staging of the double event.and according to Paquette the essential goal of providing uttermost promotion and profiling for the young talents through the entertainment scoop of local top tier Media remains in focus as the band and Council seeks to open Dominica to the many talents which exist within the area.

    i remember when that feast had meaning.there would be a exhibtion depicting the of life of the people of then and now.official speeches etc…now all i see is a meaningless,fast pace,noise infested sewo.too much emphasis on the festivities and not enough on the reason/meaning for the festival if there is any!!
