The Dominica Festival Committee (DFC) is reminding the public that the deadline for all accreditation, outside of media personnel, is October 8 and the events director of the DFC Natalie Clarke says there is little room to facilitate latecomers.
“This year, if for any reason you cannot get these accreditation and pictures taken on time, the office will be opened but there will be no one staying late to accommodate you,” Clarke said.
Clarke said that all affected should make contact with the DFC at the earliest convenience to make the necessary arrangements.
Accreditation is required for media personnel, security, staff, vendors, crewmembers, service providers, and venue operations personnel, among others.
“The deadline for media is tomorrow (today, Thursday) and the deadline for all other persons that will need to be doing business in the venue is October 8. If for any reason you cannot make the deadline then you need to call Marva Williams at the DFC office so we could go to our Plan B,” Clarke said.
In the event that individuals are unable to make use of the provisions put in place to deal with late requests, they will be made to pay the $120 nightly access cost to get into the grounds.
