UPDATE (with song): Barbara Bully-Thomas releases new jazz single

Barbara Bully-Thomas

Dominican Jazz singer and composer, Barbara Bully-Thomas, has added a new song to her Christmas CD, “Creole, Christmas and Jazz”.

The CD was released last year to very good reviews from jazz connoisseurs including Minchie Israel who noted that Bully-Thomas should release a full-length CD “when the time is right.”

The new song “Santa Please Stay” is as a result of Israel’s suggestion.

This new piece was arranged and produced by St. Lucian jazz maestro, Boo Hinkson who once more adds his unique guitar styling to the product.  The lyrics are described as “light and playful in keeping with the feel of the season as Bully-Thomas teases Santa much like Eartha Kitt did in her classic “Santa Baby”.”

“Creole Christmas and Jazz”, the CD, has therefore been taken several notches higher with this new song addition thus making it a must in the collection of all music lovers and jazz enthusiasts primarily. Also available for those who purchased the six-song CD last year is a single of “Santa Please Stay”.

The full CD and single are available for sale in Roseau and in St. Lucia.

Below is the track from Mrs. Bully-Thomas, “Santa Please Stay”
