Jamaican dancehall artist Busy Signal is promising a sterling performance when he takes the stage at Krazy Kokonuts Friday night.
The artiste told a press conference that fans can expect more than just dancehall music at the show.
According to the Jamaican, every patron will be catered for musically at tonight’s (Friday’s) event.
“We bring flavor and creativity to this thing. I am all about entertainment. I do music. I don’t just do dancehall of reggae. I do all kinds of music and I try to do the best I can. Everything I do I try to keep it musical. I have a vast amount of experience all over the world,” he said.
Meantime proprietor of Krazy Kokonuts Frankie Bellot has responded to criticism that a dancehall artist is coming to Dominica at a time when the country is observing its carnival.
“Busy is one of those men who give Trinidad calypsonian and soca artist competition in Trinidad over the past three to four years. So when you hear people talk and saying things, you have no need to worry,” he said.

it was indeed a great show, he played all kinds of music as he promised to, it was a blast, i especially liked the way he ended giving thanks and praises to God, thats one artist i would surely sspend to go back to see!!!!!!!!!!

To each his own. I’m all for local artist but people are free to spend their money on what they want. What will be new at Showdown or Stardom. Different strokes for different folks. The only thing I’d like to see more DOMINICAN artist thrusting through the regional and international markets. We sending out more money than we keeping in the economy. As far as I can tell people who will go to this show are unlikely to attend the tents so let the people free up.

y criticize a caribbean artist coming to perform during our carnival season…here goes the caribbean ppl who love see the caribbean islands divided.i feel the caribbean islands should support each other when its carnival season in each island so we can have a more united caribbean.just by busy coming here n perform during our carnival could make him love our country more,then when he goes back to jamaica he can share his experience with other jamaicans who then in return can invite one of our bouyon bands when its their cuz they do invite trini soca artiste during their carnival…maybe wck,triple kay or our young artiste can get an opportunity to do a song with him..
We had our own meet and greet with photoshoot with Busy at Clear Harbor, yes, our superb HR dept brought him to all 3 sites yesterday! I got my photo with Busy and will definitely be at the show this evening, front row and centre!

jamaica has carnival too n guess wha they always send for soca artiste so maybe if ppl like u b more united in the caribbean an appreciate artiste fr other lands during the time we celebrate(i thought we all came from the slave ship)our freedom as black ppl maybe one day our bouyon band could be invited to jamaica during their carnival…

so much local back up bands????? didnt u hear what fanatic did for barrington levy,that was nonsense backing up…black lyte good but do they know all the riddims…besides that busy signal has his own band so to me i think the promoters should bring down his band as well cuz they sound real good together but to b honest black lyte played with wayne wonder but hmmmmm busy is a much different artiste…..so wah aint an easy artiste n his energy aint simple…
