I commend the people of Castle Bruce for promoting “L-O-V-E” among youselves.
I would love to attend that evening and to listen to all those old jokes, Messieur Quik, Quak. I recall those jokes.
There was a certain friend who would visit my parents’ home in the evening. When he did we knew it would end up in jokes. I do not know how he memorized so many of them. We sat around the table and listened to him and laughed and laughed. He was good at giving those jokes. Sadly, he passed on a few years ago. I have not forgotten him and those jokes he would tell us.
I visualize it will be a night of love and fun. I would have to bring my calabash for the soup. This is like the good old days when there was no TV and Internet. In this era, our real entertainment is lost.
What about the Jing Ping? This is truly Dominican music. I love this music.
People of Castle Bruce and those who visit for the evening have a loving fun. Many of us wish that we were in D/ca to participate. DNO will post your night of loving fun for us to read. Hope this will be an annual event. God bless!

From thereon, every village should have one. Also the towns, Roseau and Portsmouth. For Roseau, all the surrounding areas as Goodwill, Pottersville, Newtown, etc. should join in. This should be a wonderful night of spreading love. This would please most of all Our Lord Jesus Christ who taught us to love one another as we love ourselves. God will bless them from above to see his children making the effort to keep love alive in their community.

Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. Likewise love!

Those were the days my friend. We thought they would never end. The good old, happy, peaceful and safe days in Dominica, going to the movies and also matinee; attending teenage high school dances and later in my early adulthood other dances. I vividly recall them.
Dominicans need to return to those days. It is by no means a setback but days of happiness and love, walking the streets with no thought of being robbed and attacked.
I also recall when walking by in Roseau and seeing some cousins and friends talking and laughing, on the sidewalk near their home. Whenever I passed by and they were there, I would stop for a while and chat with them. None looked unhappy. I cannot recall seeing any unhappy faces in those days. Oh so many other fond memories of Dominica. Bring back those good old days of generally happiness, love and peace.

: porcelain; also : vitreous porcelain wares (as dishes, vases, or ornaments) for domestic use

      2

      : earthenware or porcelain tableware

PS: let s do our research before being so quick to show our ignorance of the English Language. enough of the xenophobia already.
