Demarco for Dominica

Demarco

Celebrating 17 will definitely not be dull for local Dominican Radio Station Kairi FM  and its proprietor Frankie  Bellot.

This is word coming from Colin Demar Edwards known Popularly as Demarco and known for his hit singles “Duppy Know Ah Who Fi Frighten,” “Fallen Soldiers,” “True Friend” and “Show It (So Sexy).”

The Dancehall Reggae Star from Portmore Jamaica has also procuced the Top Speed Riddim where he recorded the song “Gal Dem Want” with the Alliance leader Bounty Killer.

Starting with a line from one of his many tracks off the Big League Riddim, “She Can’t Wait” Demarco said he is ready for the Dominica experience having just recorded a remix to Rihanna’s Billboard Number 1 hit Rude Boy.

This Jamaican headliner is expected to share the stage with one of Dominica’s Refined Female Divas Sherian Letang who recently tied knots with the island’s four-time Soca Monarch and to imagine that was not enough for the Dominican people, word is that the show’s  promoters have a price that is ridiculously low.

Agents at Juke Boxx, the artiste booking agency, have stated that Dominica is a part of who they are, having sent many other artiste to the island before. As a result not only the promoters were pleased about but also the artiste.

Dominicans are expected to converge at Dominica’s Entertainment Capital –The Krazy Kokonuts for this major Concert on the night of Saturday November 19th 2011.

I do not know the reason why Dominicans enjoy promoting Jamaican artists. These people do not like our music and actually disses it. One will never find any of our local music being played in any club in Jamaica. They consider our music to be noise and garbage.

Why didn’t Krazy plan on having Nasio Fontain as the main artist for his business anniversary – not withstanding the fact that we are on the eve of our Independence season.

Just so You know your statement is so Incorrect –Jamaicans Love Quality Music and have a deep Love and Appreciation For Riddim and Chords they also take social issues very seriously and believe it should be in every Music, That is why every Form of Reggae, Dancehall Highlights day to day issues, Jamaicans of Sorts may Rubbish our Music Because it lacks in sll of the areas Listed Above Sad To say we only have Nasio,Nelly and a few others who are able to meet that Comparative standard

No it’s not funny at all.

Maybe Sherian’s wedding was a more private affair. No cameras, no press, no paparazzi.

On the other hand, maybe Cure’s event was publicized and maybe there was even a press release of sorts.

      I’m just saying…
