Krazy Koconut is not only the best venue for this event but they are also a Headline Sponsor…..Why don’t the other businessmen be as intelligent as Krazy-T and come on board to sponsor the WCMF??? Nobody wants to sponsor the festival, they are all complaining that it is too much money to give the DFC…. You can sponsor either in cash or kind. Krazy-T sponsor the amount in kind. What are you all complaining about?? He is a businessman he knows how to do business. Don’t just sit there and criticize be as wise as he.

Not even the Cultural Division has received that amount of money for developing cultural activities compared to the huge sum a certain entertainment venue has obtained from Govt. Dominicans, musicians, cultural activists, cultural groups, musical bands that have been for years keeping the music and culture alive, calypso Association et al, ask them if they have been given such help in their efforts.

WE KNOW WHY that particular entertainment venue was singled out. Who is the proprietor? What is the reason for just taking people’s money, without their knowledge, to renovate that venue Krazy kokonuts. But the youth are told to face the banks, Credit Unions, and other financial institutions to negotiate for loans to set up the business of their choice? Couldn’t the proprietor(s) face those same institutions too to renovate?

Groups in the rural areas facing hell. Agriculture in serious decline, the standard of living of rural folks have decreased considerably, yet no such support. They will be asked again this year to partake in cultural activities during Independence celebrations. What are the benefits? How much do those people get for their work? yet again, Big Time benefits for Krazy Kokonuts and proprietor(s) leading up to Independence and WCMF.

Festival Dwive in Krazy kokonuts? Consciously thought out and put in operation. ButDominicans are not fools. I agree 100% that some shall eat all and are eating all, while the majority languish, fed with the crumbs and bamboozled to think otherwise.

Festival Dwive at Krazy Kokonuts? Anything for that venue to make some bucks in the name of WCMF. That’s how the business goes, nuh? While local bands, musicians, struggle like hell to entertain the public, promote and market our music, the particular venue has been benefitting Big Time.

Just check what assets Swinging stars (50+ years in the music business), Midnight Groovers (Kings of Cadence)and others have. How much money or wealth do the musicians have over all those years. How much assistance have they received compared to the huge financial assistance recently given to a certain entertainment venue for its renovation?

It was the tireless work, creativity and foresight of our musicians over the years and Govt. at the time in 1996 which brought about and shaped the WCMF. It seems now that some shall eat all. The slogan, ” All shall eat,” has been thrown out of the window.

some shall eat all. Welcome to the realization of the next level you are late aboard it’s approaching 11 yrs since some began eating all again since 80-95 and then 95-2000.We have new square pegs in round holes PHd’s with no class nor knowledge and understanding of the social and political process.Justice has become a travesty, despotism is ripe so are many other ills, recolonization is very much alive and well 500 yrs later.Intellectuals psuedo, imagneg genuine are being bought and sold like merchandise.criminals of all walks be it gov’t-al l solicitors selling passport at any price once the 75 and or 150 k for individual and families are paid how much they are sold for do not matter. Drugs alcohol mixed with Sewo is the trend from very long ago. Citizens get drunk while officials remain sober to creram. They have obess bank accouncts while citizen can’t by bread pay marpin and utilities.Crooks are fire bombing senior citizens homes.Commissioner flaunts his illiteracy P.s’s have made the leaps required to remain economically and rank stable. Cops bought sold etc. Is all the aforemnetioned a product of globization or stupidity and greed? Just wondering.Somebody ought to ASK HIM. Recall we asked Her back in 93?Can we ASK Him today seeing all the chess being played in Gov’t? Opposition cry foul today compared to when they were in charge and on stage. Many were dual citizens( am not in support of these two idiots today with dual citizen go free but Ron etc did it too.How are we to settle this one in the current dictatorial conditions?) if these crooks get away this time around ,D/ca is screwed.Radicals know to D/ca have mellowed, purchased, converted to christianity,Rasta or have migrated some have even returned afte 40 yrs away only to circum to bribe and or in-difference. My question and final is: Are we permanently screwed or is there hope? All pundits interlectuals real ,imagined or wannabes can blech after a late night of drinking and pork consumption, with bellies distended and indigestion and stinky breath.Let me hear you rum, whisky, wine and crack heads shoot me your takes(respective)
