Local boyoun band Digital Vybes will step into the domain of making national debut with the release of its first Carnival mixed tape.
The launch took place on a local radio programme yesterday and featured the 2011 Carnival feature, “Superstar”.
The two-year -old group will present seven tracks in the form of a mixed tape featuring additional tracks such as We Jamming, Bossman, and Country Boys, among others. With this the band promises to take local boyoun to the region and the world.
The Petite Savanne-based group first came to the national scene in 2010 at the Lime Creole in the Park.
According to an official release from the band, officials are expressing great pride in this achievement. Glenon Hilaire, one of the band’s lead singers, indicated that while the released copies will available for free to the public, the final work was not without several hiccups.
Hilaire described the mixed tape as a tremendously well positioned one , which will bring the true Caribbean revelry to the many who will play mass to its tracks.
All songs of the mixed tape was written by the Digital Vybe’s band and produced by Arade Moses. Mastering was also done by Moses at the band house and Envy studio. Band officials are commending the efforts of Kairi FM, LIME , Grand Bazaar and its management for the work done in seeing this come to reality.
The band will later this year release a further enhanced feature of “Yea You,” another of the bands signature tracks.

another pack of .. i guess. i don’t know who tells these guys that boyoun can go anywhere. boyoun is the worst form of music around there is not real talent involved just bare noise. i am not hating on the band itself but on the genre of music they have chosen to dispense.
hmmmmm well noted but the band has some surprises coming up Just Stay Glued to your Radio you may just be Bazooed—lol real Vibes
differences make the world go round! who stopping u from listening to what u like???!!!
and there we come again an other HATER, dominicans so negative, someone WILL NEVER EVER HEAR A TRINI BRING DOWN SOCA MUSIC!!!!! sometimes allu sickenin me!! what bouyon music did to u ???? what ?? that is DOMINICA CULTURE gosh!! just shut the hole u have in ur face u will do us a big favor! sometimes i just hate allu dominicans, nothing to give or propose but just CRITISIZING ALL THE TIME! i good self!!!!!!!!!
well anonymous i have only one question for u. are you a musician? if yes then u can at least encourage the guys even if is boyoun but this is our own creation, they do play other music mind you. thats what we lack in dominica too many people blasting bouyoun n not encouraging it that y it’ll not get anywhere, the reason y other songs from across the world is spreading is because of a market no one is brave enough to open a market for the purpose of boyoun unlike any othe music it is creative, there are a lot of music types that simply i can call shitt!! but people embrace it because its thier own creatoin and based on the culture..so what do you have to say? don’t jus deprive the guys about boyoun, most bands in d/a thats what they are play why because it’s fun……
Hey anonymous ,u know what step up and bring out your ideas, instead of trying to bring down a positive VYBZ .If you look carefully you will c that u are in a PACK of haters.music is life and bouyoun is DA’S life is all people like u that trying to kill bouyoun ,if you don’t like bouyoun no one has a gun to your head forcing you to listen to bouyon. The french have zouk, the Haitians have compa,Jamaica has reggae and u know the rest, as I said DOMINICA is BOUYOUN ! The band plays a variety of music,so u wanted a reggae party mix for carnival?
or what it is that u like, common man/woman stop HATING .DIGITAL VYBZ to the WORLD .
