Digital Vybez along with presenting sponsors Sat Telecommunications Limited, PartyDominica.com and the Dominica Brewery & beverages Limited is sounding the alarm that all systems are go for the band’s first Home Jam in five years.
According to band officials, preparations for the undertaking is on the final home stretch. The event only weeks away will be hosted on September 30th by the top of the line versatile and energetic Boyoun Band Digital Vybez, through its official sponsor the Dominica Brewery and Beverages Limited –agents for Kubuli Beer and Shandy-Dominica’s Pride, along with Loubiere Spring Water ,Kairi Malt and Guinness Stout.
The band has signaled that the undertaking this year will bring on board as its official communications sponsor Sat Digital TV Services, Dominica’s newest and most competent Digital Television Service. The Sat family has been with the Dominican Market over nine years and recently realigned its mission service and goals such has named the Company as its platinum communications Sponsor.
These entities along with Dominica’s number one entertainment site PartyDominica.com will combine their efforts to make this one of the greatest that the band has executed in its two years of National Focus.
The ten member band formed in Petite Savanne four years and 11 months ago as an initial community group has taken its goal to rewrite the style and quality of entertainment in Dominica due to the presence of an un-becoming approach toward social development on the island. This move is also as enshrined in its representative management group goal, as they seek to provide quality entertainment service
The band recently launched its music to the Jamaican market through 876Radio.com and has completed the first Summer Tour Series, capping the community of Salisbury, Calibishie, Bellevue Chopin,and Loubiere. The undertaking initially ear-marked to feature the band at several national feast and events will culminate with the hosting of the bands fifth anniversary jam.
one thin i want to understand from the haterz who keep on taking about the band is childish an the comments that follow them are also is that what are they self if they are also commenting … any one who takes part in a criminal act one way or the other is a criminal which means any one who takes part in childish activities is nothing but a child… so fool stop hatting because your grown ass is behaving very much childish…u unemployed uneducated child
seriously!!! that band need some good practice, they out of beat out of tune….that band need alot of work.
Considering the Bouyon music system I am surprised that a bouyon band would have 10 members- unless 5 or 6 members are just facilitators, rodeos etc. One may also get the impression that the band carry a mature horn section thus warranting the 10 members. The ten member bouyon band is badfor business and the development of the band. I maybe chastised fro saying so but the product of the Bouyon bands is substandard- the vocalists are terrible, the musicianship is non existence and overall coordination is just shameful. That is coming from a musician by the way. It is time to step up the game , the Bouyon bands need to focus on producing and delivering music – NOT NOISE AND DISCORD. I’ve been waiting for a very long time to see and hear an improvement in the Bouyon music. Our problem in Dominica is that as soon as the musicians can play a play a three chord sequence the musicians and the people think that the musicians have arrived at the pinnacle – Mr Good or They Good.” Playing an interlude on a keyboard with bad fingering positions( improper positioning) cannot bring excellence. The same goes with the other musicians. I guess once you are labeled good then there is no need to seek advancement. Kassav was great because the individual musicians were/are truly great musicians. When we can sit buy and claim Benji of KKK as singer of the year we truly are fooling ourselves.
A ten member Bouyon Band is bad for business- Simple !!!! Not many promoters wants to deal with a Bouyon band with 10 members. It’s a logistic night mare and the headache and cost of catering for 10 band members is not worth the effort.
I must say that i’m so very proud of u guys and the direction u’re heading…stay focused and positive and I wish u guys so much more success…Keep up the good work!!!

Digital Vybez will indeed be in Paix Bouche tonight again in support of another Community activity, we will also be ensuring that one of Dominica’s youngest Village Council Chairperson gets all the support he needs in making his community the best that it can be, to take a line from another of our colleagues (Signal Band) we are more than a band we are an institution and it takes each to help the other,so come supports the North East Cultural Capital as they Kick things off tonight.
In everything i think balance is important and yes in this one balance is needed on some of these comments this band has come from alot and trust me i dont think much is gonna hold em back they get the better deals in sound quality when some engineers Dont twist them up cause i have heard a couple of their Gigs and they are quite ok they will get there its kool that they are not only focused on music but on other things Thumbs up guys , and take each comment here as a positive to build u as you continue forward because for some i bet they all missed the part that u first were a community group which i guess ultimately led you to music i remember only starting to hear about you all at Creole in the park one year ago so it means that as a band you are still young but as a group you seemed closely knit to have lasted five years so stay like that and your growth as a band can only become better. To the negative vybez stop it stop it now, think about what u say apply to ur self in every thing u do. In stead of showin others fault. Think bout urs and where you going wrong and try fix it. These young men adoing positive vybez and let’s hope all young people can positive like them. They could be in gangs jail terrorizing ur home . What u would say then. Let encourage them in being positive . Keep up the good works guys.

Oh and do that positively not negatively, i’ve heard them play a couple times and the music is seriously loud! all i hear is noise. But with good practice and continuing efforts they can make it. Heck, they’re really young; age and in the industry. BUT they have to start somewhere, so all they gotta do is just take the criticisms now and make use of it positively to improve. Then who knows how far they can go.
it depends on the sound engineer, poor mixing both on stage and in front of the stage affects any band performance and quality, so i disagree to the fact that you r saying they are noisy.

Last I check triple Kay had drummer,bass,leadkeyboard,Back up keyboard,guitar,drum machine,3 vocals. If u cant count that 9. Dude if u wanna play a 2 man band I heard the cruise ship hiring.now kasav to numerous to mention.
