Five young ladies are set to compete for the title of Miss Bense, Anse-de-Mai and Anse-sol-Dat (Miss BAA) Friday 6 July at Reunion Square in Anse-de-Mai.
They are Meriscia Carriere, Jamesa Fabien, Melanie Joseph, Jayanne Thomas, and Kyla Bontiff.

I guess Jamesa is there because her father was a native of bense. Dominica to small for that girlfriend.
Just a word of advise please DA ladies/women make sure that you shave your armpit on a regular basic, do not wait when you are competing in a pageant to do so, i am not being disrespectful, but just my 2 cents

Good luck to all the ladies…just to give a little positive criticm if you are wearing a long earring, especially one which touches your shoulders please refrain rom adding a necklace. Less is more.
Jamesa’s dad the late James Fabien was from Bense so that gives her the right to go up for the pageant.

i find the organizers could make the girls look better wii alas…low standards (except for Jamesa and Meriscia;they look okay). Why does Melanie have that hat which doesn’t suit her attire? Hope the actual show will showcase higher standards. Anyways, best of luck to the young ladies.

Jamesa’s father was from Bense i.e the late Mr James Fabien former teacher at P.S.S. It is a reunion and i think she has earned her place as a contestant. Good luck Mimi.

I must say that u don’t know nothing about Jamesa because you would know that her father is from bense and that is where all her family are. Did you know that the late John Fabien is from bense and he is her uncle but live Grandbay most of his life? ge your facts right please.
Jamesa Family is from Bense that’s where her family is from. After a while the moved to Portsmouth but traveled back and forth to Bense. My guess is you don’t really know them that well. Is there anything else you would like to know. Just like my family if from Calihaut but I was born and raised in Portsmouth but has strong ties in Calihaut.
Well, well what you don’t know is sure older than you. Where was her father from again? Just check the surname and you will have your answer. If this is a reunion then she is good to go. Go Jamesa go.

However, we need more contestants who have their OWN hair. No, HIB is not your hair, no matter what you think. Too much fakeness in these pics. The beauty is actually hidden behind the masks. Masks can be beautiful but i want beauty in its natural state. I do not want to see who can look prettier in a mask. Remove your masks and allow me to appreciate your beauty. What i see is just a «whole setta masks!»
