That’s how cheap events are back home & when the come 2 NY they charge an arm & a leg & play pure s¥*£ sound check all mf nite.
Well, to be fair, the cost of producing an event in DA is TOTALLY DIFFERENT to producing it in NYC. Also, airfares etc have to be added, cost of advertising, renting systems, hall etc… totally different cost structure. It is also hard in DA to charge what you should charge for events, and so most times SPONSORS have to carry alot of the costs of the event, because gate alone just cannot cut it. Talking from experience trust me.
