A show geared at promotion of our national wear and emphasizing the grace and poise of our nation’s senior women is scheduled for Friday 18th October, 2013.
From 8:00 pm at the Arawak House of Culture, five women from various parts of the island will take to the stage in an attempt to win the title of Madam Wob Dwiyet 2013.
The contestants are Huguette Andrew of Goodwill, Joan Frampton of Point Mitchel, Masylin Massicot of Paix Bouche , Germaine Letang of Pichelin, and Veronique Nicholas of Newtown.
According to Cultural Officer Claire Vital the show is a means of showing that the senior citizens have talent and can showcase it.
The show will consist of an opening round and two competing rounds namely; the talent round and the Wob Dwiyet round.
Annette Bates of Mahaut is the current Madam Wob Dwiyet.

The Roseau Health Team is routing for Ma Boyd! Although I think she looks young enough to be in the Miss Wob not Madame Wob..
