The event dubbed Mayfest begins officially on Friday evening at Marigot, according to officials of the Marigot Development Corporation.
The annual event is into its sixth year, and runs from Friday to Monday, over the Labour Day weekend.
Acts being featured there will include 25 year old Bouyon Giants “the WCK Band”.
Popular Dominican International act Asa Banton will also be on stage, backed by Petite Savanne based Digital Vybez Band.
Organisers say the festival will also feature the second edition of both the Ms North East Beauty Pageant which was last held in 2010, and the annual Breadfruit Festival, which began last year and is again presented by the Marigot Tourism Council.

I was there last year and I wrecked my brand new sneakers. That not happening again this year. They should move the Marigot Mayfest to Mero lol.

Angel you have missed the point “” MAYFEST “” and if they change it to August it wouldnt draw the crowd because we have CARIBANA in Toronto and a lot of folks attend so right their you will loose out on the USA and Canadian Caribbean market all rods lead to TORONTO at that time and you also have Antigua Canival again it’s not good either therefor MAYFEST is okay.
I wish my people all the best I know they will be good hostess I will never forget all the good time I had during there Reunion just try and enjoy yourselves and Angel try be there for next year.
