Discover Dominica Authority through Dominica Festivals Committee and Team Francine have been preparing Miss Dominica, Francine Baron to take the stage in St. Maarten at her first regional competition Miss PDJ2 2014.
Baron left Dominica on Tuesday morning well equipped to take part in the nineteenth Anniversary of Miss PJD2 Caribbean Queen Pageant.
The competition takes place on Sunday 27th April, 2014 under the theme “Confidence Beauty and Respect”.
According to the pageant holders “this promises to be a great year, and your country’s participation will help commemorate this milestone”
Miss Dominica will appear in the competition’s four categories: Native Costume, Swim wear, Talent, Evening wear segments.
Prizes will be awarded for Miss Personality, Amity, Photogenic, and Congeniality along with Best Evening Wear, Talent, and Miss Confidence amongst others.
Baron has already amassed many fans and well-wishers in Dominica and in St. Maarten.
Any updates on the results?
She was the best in Dominica by no doubt although a few accolades which she did not deserve went to her. Her head has now swelled and she kicked out the Chaperone who worked days and sleepless nights to see her through. Now she has created her dream team who she says is genuine. while her chaperone she claimed was working just to get FAME. Lets see how much further she will go.
This young lady is ungrateful, and has too much drama surrounding her. Go back to her FB post where she had to stop her followers from taking out “maypwee” on her behalf for a regional pageant – this set a bad tone and footing for her. Be mindful young lady that the ungrateful never prospers, they will never be blessed!!
People that are befriending you today, you met ONLY because of a Queen show does not mean they are your friends or genuine. Friendships are earned over the years, remember Every one helping you has a hidden agenda, nobody works for nothing, nobody works freely. You are young and very naive. But we all learn the hard way so time will tell.

the standard of the queen of carnival this year was very poor and boring..if miss dominica did not make some changes to better her performance, she will never make it in the top three..good luck anyhow..
