Nayee to release carnival single

jouvetBouyon artiste, Nayee, is set to release a new single just as the carnival season begins to heat up.

The new song, Jouvet, will hit the airwaves on Friday afternoon.

Nayee said that the jouvet event is the epitome of Carnival everywhere since it resonates fresh energy for the anticipated days of massive revelry.

“For those who celebrate carnival around the world, it is the opportunity for everyone to revel in a massive way,” the artiste said. “The style in which people play Mas may differ from country to country however the intention remains the same. We come out to release our energy; we revel with the intention of having a good time.”

He went on to say, “It is fitting that the song is released on the eve of the month notorious for carnival.”

Nayee said the song seeks to remind Dominicans “that the ultimate warm up of carnival is on that highly anticipated morning.”

“It is evident that people come out at that time, ready to jam in a peaceful atmosphere,” he noted.

The song will be released on state-owned DBS Radio at 4:30 pm.

It was written by Neijel “NAYEE” Jno Baptiste, and features Clement “BAMBI” Jno Baptiste.

It is Performed by Nayee and Bambi and was produced, mixed and mastered by Callian “Falcon Da Don” James of Fully Grown Entertainment.

Hi Nayee, as a fellow Dominican I know how tough our people can be.. but don’t take the comments here too much to heart, some will be harsh but speak some truth and others are just what they are ‘people taking their kix on line’. Just continue to work hard and persevere. The last time I commented I insisted on producing, producing, producing… make this single one of many more to come.. you have a unique taste and sound, don’t give up, work, work, work! All the best.

I heard a saying which goes “Anything that is popular is not good”. Someone mentioned that he not connecting with the masses but when you really think about it, Nayee has a different style which is great for the regional market. If Dominicans don’t like their own then by all means bounce out of here. It is useless to try to please the masses chant chant chant. Do your thing, you sounding good. And your management is doing good as well. Big up to anybody who was willing to take a chance with you on you because it not easy in Dominica to make it in this industry. After you, I see alot of the bands follow a pattern that you set as a solo artist. WCK was acting like they never knew they had a fb page. Tell your management keep it humble and pace things. Rome was not built in a day so i didn’t expect you to be the next machel montano in a matter of months. Continue to do your music. If your father was here he would encourage the same thing. All this discouragement from people is to break you down. I know NO other bouyon artist who can execute like you. You made music in WCK and you still are now. SO what is the difference? Because you were in a band? A band is just a brand. Keep striving for the best and keep your circle small. Not everybody that wants to help you has your best intentions, they may only be looking for a fast way to make it on you. Keep focused, and you will see your way. God bless you Nayee. God bless you!!!

Nayee, this is too easy. you have gone beyond that of the Dominican standards, you got to find a market on the out side. There is a term that you call NET-WORKING. You have to look on the out side. I can tell you the next big thing for Rhianna is a released of a caribbean style single, and little do you know she experimented when the guys from Rock-City help with OH Mama.

Do not be discouraged Nayee. If your dad Allan was still alive he would be very proud of you. He was a very good musician and I had the pleasure of working with him. Don’t give up!

Your management is quite fine. Keep your circle small. I know this chic, We went to college together, she smart too. people should not underestimate her. Keep focused and you all will make the impossible POSSIBLE! Be careful of those who only want to help you because they see dollar signs or have personal agendas or jut want to be in the spotlight. that is not genuine helpers. keep your circle small.

Ya’ll soo negative. Nayee keep doing your thing. Rome was not built in a day. This is something new they cannot deal with. Your journey not over. Continue to do what you love. You choose a path less chossen, something many people could not or afraid to do. I applaud you for taking this bold step.

Wow! Dominicans don’t support their own artists boy. In my culture there is a saying “if you don’t have good to say don’t say nothing”. Nayee use all the negative comments as motivation because at the end of the day people are entitled to their opinions. You will only fail when you stop believing you can. Many of the world’s greatest artist were members of bands or groups before they launched solo careers and became famous: Michael Jackson, Gladys Knight, Sam Cooke, Tina Turner, Teddy Pendergrass, John Lennon, Lionel Ritchie, Diana Ross, Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Justin Timberlake to name a few. I would say the odds are in Nayee’s favor since there are clearly many more solo artists than bands or groups.

Some of the most devastating failures were just another stop on the road to success.

Thomas Edison’s teachers told him he was too stupid to learn anything. He later invented 1000 light bulbs before creating one that worked. Who can imagine a world without light bulbs now.

Albert Einstein didn’t speak until age 4 and didn’t read until age 7. His teachers labeled him “slow” and “mentally handicapped. He later won the Nobel prize in physics.

You are clearly a talented individual and like with any other talent or skill the more you practice and work hard at it, the better you will become. Best of luck always!

Nayee your solo stuff aint workinh at all its either you get better management or you get back to the drawing board or you just go back to CK trust me you just cannot be releasing tracks every other month that experimenting aint worth the effort. You have a lot of talent but you just not connecting with the masses!

Who are the masses and what can be done to please them? The “masses” would see three CDs on sale, they would try to pirate the kkk one, not want to pay for Michelle Henderson and buy the Drake. And why should he go back to WCK, don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that but we always try to make it seem like a person with “brand” on them always better than someone without. So if Benji left kkk would that make him less of a Benji?
