This weekend, Theatre lovers and the general public have an opportunity to see the New Dimension Theatre latest theatrical production- Desired Will at the Arawak House of Culture. Desired Will is an absorbing and thrilling production which explores the themes of selfish desires, betrayal ,rejection and redemption! According to a news release from the group. Desired Will brings into focus a situation in which the patriarch lived his life in pursuit of his desired will. It appears that he lived an exemplary life and inspired those around him but as soon as he kissed the world good bye his desires came into sharp conflict with those of his children and In- Laws. Desired Will has a pulsating and compelling storyline, strong conflict, an intriguing plot and is rippled with fun and laughter.
Desired Will is written and directed by Steve Hyacinth and features some of Dominica’s top actors and actresses: Donille Blackmoore, Jerry Coipel , John Liverpool, Monelle Alexis, Ashworth Brown Simon as well as a few up and coming theatre stars.
Desired Will opens at the Arawak House of Culture on Friday April 26 and runs on Saturday27 and Sunday 28 at 8 :OO pm.
Let me tell you, this is what we need to support in Dominica. Theatre at its best. The New dimension theatre has been existance for 30 years and every play that is produced the rating just get higher and higher, this group must be showcased around the Caribbean, what a production that was, its reality check on greed and dislayalty and all sorts of evils in our lives. Let me tell you Steve crafted this play – he is genius.
The actors and actresses delivered and delivered well. Big Plus to Ms.Blackmoore, Jerry Coipel, Shoes were exceptional. The others were very supportive.
Persons who have not seen the play should take time off to see it when next it comes to the Arawak. I can tell you your money will not beat you. Its worth it
