Q95’s Q Talent Search 2011 kicks into high gear

Q95fm Radio’s 2nd Annual Q Talent Search 2011 Competition is moving into High Speed. The 2nd Annual Press Launch took place on Monday 8th August and established another important milestone for Q95fm Radio. Honors and acknowledgements were lavished on valued Sponsors and especially on Headline Telecom Sponsor LIME.

The management and Staff of Q95 were particularly pleased to honor the talented young people who called the station and had fun singing their chosen songs, and delighting thousands of people, who were listening in Dominica and throughout the Caribbean and the rest of the world via the Internet. Gratitude was also extended to the hundreds of people who called and text their support for the talented Dominican QTS Singers, and to everyone who helped in one way or another, in making the 2nd Annual Q Talent Search 2011 fun filled, and even more remarkable and exciting than the first event in 2010. CEO of Q95 Sheridan Gregoire launched the official start of the more competitive activities and events of QTS 2011, commencing with the Free Bayfront Launch for QTS Fans and Supporters, and then on to the Quarter Finals on Saturday 3rd September 2011.

Everyone is now anxiously looking forward to seeing which of the competitors wants it most, among a field of 32 very talented Dominican Rising Stars. The question is who will emerge as the winner of QTS 2011? And the answer is … it’s anyone’s guess. Every one of the competitors is already a winner in one way or another, and many of them have received generous gift vouchers from patriotic sponsors. Q95fm Radio contends that Q Talent Search is for every Dominican in every community, who believes they can sing, and encourages everyone to get involved next year, in the 3rd Annual Q Talent Search 2012 competition.

Asher Thomas was singled out for great honor as the Historical First Winner of Q Talent Search, and was saluted for what he has achieved in the very short space of time since he was judged winner of QTS 2010 in December 2010. Q95fm radio is proud to be working with Asher on his first Album which will be launched within a few days. Asher really has a wonderful voice, and he makes beautiful music. He is on the way to achieve great things, as he keeps on reaching up to excellence. He is following the footsteps of another prolific Dominican Artiste Heston Francis who is currently making an outstanding impression in North America and in Europe, and whose music is making its way up on the charts. On Asher’s behalf Q95 says “Thank you Dominica, for your sincere support”.

The Press Launch and closed auditions on Monday 8th August was a tangible manifestation that Q95fm Radio is committed to its mission, to discover and promote the best Dominican singers, and to take them to the top. Q95 will continue to celebrate Asher during the journey through the 2ndAnnual Q Talent Search Competition, and will be there for him, and for every other QTS winner, long after the competitions have come and gone, and new competitions take place each year.
