Sea Hawk Productions has been making strides in bringing their first film Rising Caribbean Tides – The Seahawk closer to reality.
The film’s Director/Executive Producer Alwin Bully, Screenwriter Juliana Magloire and Dominica Film Commissioner Anita Bully, scouted locations in Portsmouth where the film is scheduled to be shot.
Auditions for the movie were also held in Portsmouth and some 36 persons shortlisted to act in the film. Rehearsals are expected to begin this weekend in Portsmouth.
Fundraising efforts are now in high gear to meet production and post production costs.
Impressive J. Magloire, I see you are now putting your years of teaching English and English Literature at PSS in to writing. Fantastic, I hope this will not be a flash in the pan effort. KUDOS to you.
Being from Portsmouth make this a very jovial read. I look forward to owning an original copy.
Blessinz of suck endeavor.
Blessinz on* such* endeavor.
That’s a good idea, this should open up avenues for the filming industry in Dominica. Time for us to start producing some serious movies on DVD to sell thoroughout the Caribbean, a good market!
