Six contestants will vie for the title of Atkinson Primary School Miss Noel which is scheduled to take place on Saturday December 15th in Atkinson from 6 pm.
They are Kristi Alfrey of Bataca, Regina Auguiste of Crayfish River, Daniella Laurent of Atkinson, Bridget Lucien of Crayfish River, Nickella Prevost of Antrizle and Marian Tyson of Bataca.
The Miss Noel pageant includes casual and evening wear rounds as well as a talent round highlighting Christmas themes and it allows participants to focus on local Christmas traditions including sewinal.
Guest performances from school students, Blinx, Kalinago Angels, Bann Akayo, Gregory Rabess and calypsonian Soul Puss will form part of the event.
Principal of the Atkinson Primary School, Alice Laronde, said the annual Christmas pageant has had a positive impact on the participants in terms of self-esteem and confidence and offers them an opportunity to showcase their talent while at the same time getting them involved in preserving and promoting local Christmas traditions.

theres no making alyou happy is there.first they dressed up the carnival princesses alyou blasted them saying they dress up the children making them look all grown dress them so they can look like kids. now these people take ordinary everyday pics of the contestants alyou complaining they look too dull.geez man!!!!!!!!!!!!!
