Soca, reggae and bouyon kept patrons fascinated on night two of the 16th annual World Creole Music Festival(WCMF).
Local versatile band Fanatik band set the mood for the night and kept the crowd entertained with a well sequenced repertoire of various hits. The band also provided musical accompaniment for Fredo of Seventeen Plus from the U.S.V.I, Onyan of Antigua who rocked the crowd with various songs including popular song “Kick in she Backdoor” and local artist Rah former singer of the WCK.
The public turned out in large numbers to see the performance of Jamaican reggae artist Taurus Riley. In his inimitable style, Riley touched the hearts of all present performing songs such as “She’s Royal” and “Superman.” In an interview with the press Riley revealed that he enjoyed performing on the WCMF stage and described the moment as a great one.
The night continued with popular soca band Krossfyah out of Barbados. They kept the energy in the venue flowing as they released a performance that kept patrons dancing until the very last song.
The crowd particularly enjoyed their performance of “Sak Passe” a song which the group described as a song that was created after being introduced to the phrase during a visit to Antigua.
Triple Kay band out of Dominica made a grand entrance unto the WCMF stage and ensured that fans were not disappointed. The band played a combination of old and new hit songs which kept patrons dancing into the daybreak.
Night two proved to be as exciting and enjoyable as night one of the 3 night event. A consistent, connecting thread throuhout the event so far has been the special tribute paid to fallen Cadence Legend Jeff Joseph by a number of the artists

Fun is good, but if there is no good coming from it, what’s the point. Stay safe and look forward and a possitive future. Forward we go.
