Dominica Coconut Products, a Colgate-Palmolive Company, heeded the call by the Prime Minister, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, who declared June 24-27 “National Disaster Preparedness Weekend”.
The management of DCP/Colgate as a corporate citizen which focuses on sustainability and the protection of our people and property in the event of a Hurricane, decided to shut down our manufacturing operations for the entire day on June 24, to execute our clean-up projects.
Our workforce of 111 employees was very enthusiastic in support of the company initiatives to help with the clean-up efforts in the community of Mahaut and the environs.
We as a company will continue to support such initiatives and commit ourselves in the preservation and sustainability of Dominica.
very well done. havent seen these faces in a long time. good going dcp
The Salisbury Reunion Committee also had a very successful Clean Up Campaign on Saturday and to continue every Saturday until the Reunion.
Great going, DCP! I would like to see other corporate citizens emulate this initiative.
