Don’t worry, we are almost climate change; hurricanes, earthquake and volcano resilient. Soon we will also be Labour party and Roosevelt Skerrit resilient!

Excuse Mr Acting Disaster Coordinator, but if you’re giving information from the Seismic Research Centre in Trinidad, give us all. This is an earthquake of some significance seeing that GPS coordinates puts it only 1.2km north of the Boiling Lake; Dominica’s most volcanic area. This office of disaster management has a habit of ‘dragging feet’ when it comes to disseminating information. See link below for a more in depth summary of this event, which was reviewed by a Seismologist:

Instead you go on your knees and pray to God that everybody is ok, this is the best you can come up with? At the end of the day you and any government not in control of nature. I think we as a people can do and act better than this. Is nothing to be angry about, just want you to speak more positive than this.

Good. It is only a minor earthquake at least for now. Sometimes others follow of greater magnitude. I hope not.
