Stakeholders hold consultation on water management

Stakeholders will tomorrow engage in a consultation of the National Integrated Water Resource Management in Dominica.

The consultation, which is to take place at the Fort Young Hotel, is aimed at fostering the participation of and dialogue between various stakeholders so as to promote sustainable policies for national water management.

It will also be geared at creating awareness of water related problems and to motivate commitment at the highest level of their solution, thus promoting better management of water resources at local, regional and international levels.

The consultation will be implemented by the Caribbean Environmental Health Institute in partnership with DOWASCO.

What stakeholders? DWASCO and its stockholders? How about the people of DA. The only problem that most of us have is when DWASCO shuts off the water or when muddy water is coming through the faucet. Can they fix that with this meeting?
