UPDATE: Police seek public’s assistance in finding escaped prisoner

The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) is in search of an adult male, Christon Tavernier who escaped from the Dominica State Prison where he had been serving a three-year sentence for offenses of wounding and theft.

According to reports, Tavernier aged 19, who is a resident of Kings Hill, escaped from the state prison at about 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

Anyone having information as to the whereabouts of Tavernier is asked to contact the police at 911 or the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at telephone numbers 266-5164, 266-5165, 266-5157, 266-5185, 266-5119, or 266-5117 or any police station.
