Seems like the man shot himself. If it was another fellow man that shot him we would all hear. So what’s the secret about who gunned him down like a dog in the streets. It’s wrong we all have family no matter who we are’ race colour or creed. Tell the nation who shot the young man. We’re all waiting.

Ok let Skerrit and his friend Ralph Gonzales deal with this fatal shooting. Is they that dealt took our international airport from and told us we couldn’t afford so they will handle it. I just feel bad the shooting took place less than a mile from where our international airport would be located and no doubt would be swinging in full force if we didn’t reject a good working government and replaced it with a lazy government. We have been suffering from that year starting with the strange death of Rosie Douglas to this day and will only get worse so long Skerrit and remnants of hid thugs are in office

Wow . So much credit for one man. Hatters come out very forceful against people who are successful. That is a truism.

” I just feel bad the shooting took place less than a mile from where our international airport would be located”

      Are you crazy?

There is no place one mile from the fisheries where the shooting took place that could be used to build an International Airport.

If you are talking about where Melville Hall Airport is located, that could never happen in a million years okay!  The most suitable place for an International Airport in all of Dominica is the site where Edison James was building it during his tenure; between Wesley and Woodford Hill, when Rosie Douglas, Roosevelt Skerrit, and guys like Athie Martin shut it down!

The land is still there, Athie claimed it is better suited for the planting of avocados than an International Airport eh.

I hear that this man Athie has a degree in Agriculture and was a Minister of Agriculture. His take in agricultural diversity was to exit bananas and plant pepper. By the time he and Edison James, then Manager of DBGA completed their fake news, Geest Industries and bananas had left the whole Winward Islands. Is that true ?

As a tree crop avocados can be planted anywhere in Dominica. I have seen avocados at a high elevation where mangoes will not produce. I have seen avocados in costal lands.

Mangoes as well as avocados grows and produce anywhere in Dominica. I belong to the village of Wesley, and saw mango tree in all parts in the mountains around Wesley, Joe, Button Willbroum La’quar; and River Head. Sometimes in the more damp place the Mangoes tree takes longer to produce but they do.

The surprising thing about it is that Athie Martin do have a degree in Agronomy which is a branch of agriculture which deals with field crop production, and soil management. He must have known that Avocados can be grown wherever a seed is planted.

I have avocados growing in the back yard of some of my properties in Los Angeles. Interestingly we have four seasons in California Winter Summer, Fall and Spring, we are not in the tropics.

I do not know how an agronomists could have reject the best site for an International Airport in favor of planting avocados and other agricultural produce!

        But!

That’s what politics, and personal ambitions does to the mind of politicians!
